Is this the most kino moment in video games history
Is this the most kino moment in video games history
...
Yep.
A-team outdid themselves with this one.
What is this, googling maxresdefault tells me nothing
I wonder if they will even bother trying to outdo themselves with DS3's DLC.
Too bad the shitty voice acting ruins it.
Fuck me, this is the one where it actually goes on.

Is this Souls shit? I'm so tired of this retarded series. It's become flavor of the month Call of Duty-tier.
AWAY AWAY
the fuck is a kino moment
also its my favorite souls boss
>not orphan of kos or lady maria
>orphan of artificial difficulty
>lady parry2win
LADY MARIA IS NOT FOR ABUSE
YOU MUST FIGHT HER FAIR AND SQUARE
I stunlocked Maria with the pizzacutter until she died
You sure I can't R1 spam her with my BoM and take out half her health as she charges up?

I've heard it all before. *yawn*
what's kino?
Not even the most kino moment in the game.
The whole game is pure kino if you ask me.
Post vidya kino.
what does "kino" mean?
>parrying bosses to death
>artificial difficulty
I'm afraid that you've exceeded the meme limit user, that's going to be a ticket and several points on your shitposting license
both are really fun, but something about Ludwig was more impactful. The music was really well done and he was a figure that had been talked about and referenced heavily and I remember there being a lot of speculation on where he was in the world. The fact that he was the most beastly of the transformations and still clinging to his humanity was really cool to see and in general I found it a good fight.
Funny though most people find him very hard but I beat him second time, where as many people find Maria easy and I died to her more times than I care to admit.
...
its german for cinema
kino is a meme to define patrician-tier movies which go beyond the usual trash like movies, flicks, etc
it doesn't really have much bearing on video games but teenbros only use the freshest memes
what da fug is kino ???
True Kino moment was when you tell him his fellow executioners were all good fellas, and did not perish or went insane.
"Even in this darkest of nights I see the moonlight" was perfect. The way the voiceline is delivered is fucking gold.
>lay down
>try not to cry
>cry a lot
No, this is.
>OCELOTTEEEEEE

[HORSE SCREECHING]
No, this is
>tfw 99% of neo-Sup Forums doesn't comprehend what happened in this scene
I hope you mean out of impactfulness and not sadness, because Oceiros was a fucked up son of a bitch and the fact his baby probably died or ran the fuck away is well deserved.
...
Sup Forums meme
Ludwig is more artificial difficulty than Orphan with his retarded damage output.

The entire game is kino desu
>the debate over whether he was loyal to Big Boss or furious
>Been regularly discussed since the series started
>Flavor of the month
I don't think that means what you think it means, user.
who the hell is Ocelotte anyway and why should I care?
>he didn't wear any church armor and gave a poor man the rest he deserved
Go replay it now.

Don't you kill his baby during the fight? The screaming of the baby stops when he snaps. Or it could be the music echoing his inner thoughts.
Legend of Mana was excellent in writting and atmosphere, specially the Jumi storyline, but

Fact: The Phantom Pain was the strongest metal gear in story and direction

This whole fight was kino in vidya form.

STANDING HERE
Ocelotte is the (supposed) last heir of Oceiros and the (supposed) pinnacle of his research into dragon-breeds. Whenether he exists or not is left in the air as Oceiros is pretty nutty and clearly holding nothing.
It's an autistic/pretentious way of saying "movie". Hence why Sup Forums uses it all the time. It also means "movie" in russian, so go figure.
Ludwig is great. I can think of countless bossfights that start off against a normal opponent then they lose control and turn into a hideous beast, it's cool to see the reverse, and have Ludwig able to compose himself and remember who he is.
Too bad gameplay was some of the worst ever, literally.
Ehhhhh, that could be going too far. I dunno, I'd put it third
Artstyle, the game doesn't get enough praise on. It's fantastic.
It was good, but it was ruined by the horrible voice acting.
I don't even want to know what that is.
>Yhorm, old friend...
>I, Siegward of the Knights of Catarina, have come to fulfill my promise!
>Let the Sun shine on this Lord of Cinder!
No
2 different bosses, moron.
quite the achievment for a game whose story abruptly ends halfway through
...
I don't get the love for this boss fight other than the moonlight greatsword. Its not nearly as memorable as the orphan
I could say it's the one game I could care little if it even had gameplay at all. It's honestly beautifully made from writting, to spirit, to artwork to characterization to the point I'd rank it amongst favourites for lifelong even if it were an interactive walk-around novel. Few games ever manage that.
lol sure.
Maybe when you take 9th grade english you might understand why you're wrong.
yeah, and talking to him after defeating him and him feeling real remorse about the downfall of the movement he started. It made me feel more than any other souls subplot actually.
Like, I don't care for the church in the game, but you could tell he genuinely wanted to do good and just made things worse in the process.
Its the worst fight in the DLC except for living failures and the fire cleric beast
God, Ludwig is such an abomination and a wicked beast. I wonder what our little squid hunter turns into when it grows up.
Are you serious? Orphan deals more damage, if he hits you with two projectiles (even splash) you're dead, he also has 6-8 hit strings, and 2 are enough to kill you. The slam he does also deals around 75% of your health and has a follow up with huge splash damage. A bunch of his attacks have weird hitboxes, especially the one where he spins the placenta around, it also stuns you. But if you know how to parry/backstab him consistently he becomes a cakewalk
Why lie to a man in his last moments?
...
>Its the worst
>3rd best
90% of Sup Forums are dsp tier and its the only dlc boss theyve faced
I was just about to post this, when suddently I REALIZEDthat fighting him in the Jetstream Sam DLC was amazing
Is it done, Yuri?
>it's the one game I could care little if it even had gameplay at all
Sure, I would've been fine with it jsut being an adventure game that borders on a walking sim, except that it DOES have all that hideous combat that barely fucking works and those respawning battler that nonetheless literally don't penalize you at all for losing. Its combat is insulting in the worst possible way, there's a lot of it and you can't skip it: you literally (literally, at all) can not lose, there's no challenge, but you MUST button mash through dozens of encounters per dungeon—after a while I simply stop being able to play. I still haven't beaten the goddamn thing. Even though it's fucking brilliant otherwise.
MEMORIES BROKEN
>>>>lol its a emmememe man .1!!!!1!
nah man memes are dumb.
That's because Bloodborne fags love to meme about how amazing the Ludwig fight is since it has a mid-battle cutscene, and because it was their first game in the series.
Orphan and Maria are infinitely better.
What is your purpose here, Arisen? If you sought to live you had naught but run and hide yourself away. But then, tell me, child of man... what does it mean to live in truth? To wage war against the passing days? To pray to the unseen for a few breaths more? To raise grand cities from stone, and spawn new life in turn? Mankind has done this, yes, and more. But is the tapestry you weave truly of your own design?
...
Pontiff Sulyvahn is a better boss fight than anything in Bloodborne
>hate this arc as a kid; find it confusing and dramatic; always kill Escad
>replay it as an adult
>the plot is rather subtle (translation or lack of exposure?), but eventually you get it
>always kill Daena now
"This battle you have begun, sits at the very heart of all creation. We are the axis about which the world turns, Arisen! Time itself flows with your footsteps!"
"Come, Arisen. If you are truly awakened unto the world, you shall weather the fires of perdition unscathed!"
"Yes... I remember now. This sensation, this pain... I know it well. The hurt you visit upon me is the selfsame pain I once inflicted. This battle is mine, just as it is yours. It is aught I began long ago."
how do I get good at pope and his stand?
I can beat any boss in BB easily but this dude still gives me a shit load of trouble solo. I usually just summon like a a bitch.

Are we talking about kino here?
>I don't understand jokes to win
Lol you're the easiest boss
He was the boss where I realised that going with a slow 2-hander was a horrible mistake. Killed all the bosses with that build anyway but man was it frustrating.
