Do you play games on easy, normal or hard?

do you play games on easy, normal or hard?

>blind first playthrough
normal
>second playthrough
hard
>series I'm used to
hard

>Normal is too easy
>Hard is too hard

Easy every time to just enjoy the story and gameplay.

I get enough challenge from my job

First playthrough on hard and go up from there.

If hard turns out to be horseshit RNG then I'll stop playing completely

Normal at first to get the baseline experience, then again on hard and up if I liked it. My roommate does his first playthrough of every Halo game on Legendary and it takes him hours to get past each room, he dies every few seconds and it doesn't look fun at all. I would play through the game on normal and hard first to learn each level.

first playthrough always on normal

Normal for the usual game.

Hurt Me Plenty For Doom
Bring It On For Wolfenstein

EZ cheesy. I'm a girl so.

>shooters
Hard. Although I'm going to start moving it down to normal if it involves making enemies bullet sponges because Bioshock Infinite was so horrific

>racing/RPG/TBS/puzzle
Normal

>fighting/RTS
Easy

>normal
>difficult
>legendary
>divine
>judgement

First 2 difficulties you can't even see the last level.

True form / final form boss is only on last difficulty

Difference is from a sleepwalk to bullet hell.

Damn I wish I was as /fa/ as Nathan

What game?

usually on hard except mg rising, i dont know if i cant git gud or if keyboard controls suck massive dick

Hard unless I feel it will no longer play as intended.

Recently started playing through Max Payne and it's one of those games with many difficulty settings only allowing you to choose the easiest one at first.

Hard like my boner haha

Start on normal, restart on hard if it's too easy.
Only do higher difficulties for shit I like.

Always normal first.
If I'm into it I'll up it to hard next go through.

Always hard.

If I wanted to do something tough I would train to run a decathlon

I play ever game on easy. video games are supposed to be FUN not rage inducing ass fuckings.

>Did you know?
The difficulty levels in video games are dumbed down in America. Hard difficulty is called Normal, and expert is called hard. They do this with basically every game that's been made by a European or Asian developer before putting it on sale in the states

>And you guys wonder why we beat you so hard
Come here to Korea and I'll show you how a real man plays video games

With the exception of strategy games, which I'm not good at, I always play on hardest difficulty but I prefer games that get progressively harder as you work your way through and don't have a difficulty setting.

...

Does it even matter with modern games?

I never play new games on hard since the combination of learning new things + dieing to mobs I havent learned yet to deal with is not fun.
Replays in generally play on 2nd hardest so the games pace is suitable.
