Not him, been playing it recently for the first time. It's alright, but it definitely get old and repetitive. I tried to force myself to finish it but i only managed to get to the start of the 5th character just to see how it played (which was still over 30 hours). Too much is too similar and of the available difficulties from the start it's way too easy. Good at a discount.

No it didn't. Even if we disregard the terribly paced and incomplete, disappointing story, the gameplay it self was just as bad a lot of the time.
There were about 5 or so good bases in the game to actually sneak around in, the rest of the time you were just moving around an empty open world.
Or taking 2 minute unskippable chopper rides to do "Destroy Enemy Tank #213" and "Rescue Hostage #731" side ops.
Any other game that would have pulled this copy and paste shit would have been ostracised, and certainly wouldn't have deserved 9's when you look at the whole package.
The one thing the game did right was character controlling, it was responsive and solid.
But that's only one single part of gameplay, it's not the entire gameplay as a whole as some of you cucks like to make it out as.
You need interesting levels, good AI, interesting missions to encompass the whole of what gameplay stands for.

I'd not possible to make a game worse than XIII.

No, an incomplete game did not deserve that a score that high and yes, I know and agree that MGSV has a damn good game play.

Other than Mass Effect 3 I don't think any game as ever made me even half as angey as XIII. It's simply astounding that not only did such a massive piece of shit get made but then they insisted on staying with it for over half a decade despite all the fans of the series hating the fuck out of it every step of the way.

Nomura worked on BBS as co-writer and director, specifically writing the beginning and end with Yatsue writing the Disney worlds. Tired of this "Yatsue did all the directing for BBS and DDD", it's patently untrue.
