There are plenty of good tunes on there. SA and VC aren't really fair to compare to because they were tracked to epitomize cultures with very distinct and famous music tastes (80’s synth shit and 90's hip hop). The track lists were just top hits from those styles of music.
If they did the same thing with main series titles the track lists would literally just be the IRL radio and it would not unlikely ruin the series.
