Are white game developers uncomfortable when confronted with their ancestors' sins?
The interactivity of video games seems like an opportunity to truly show the horrors suffered by blacks under slavery that a cerebral book couldn't do justice to.

Not sure about whites being the first to abolish slavery, but European nations were definitely the first to really crack down on fighting against slavery and the slave trade after they abolished it.
