I'm currently doing the Cindy sewer quest and I'm mad.
Why do my team get wiped out in seconds by enemies of equal level to me? I'm holding defend and counter whenever I can, but I'm chugging potions every few seconds. It seems that I have to be 10+ levels higher than them in order to stand a chance.
What am I doing wrong?

A single point invested spell will do about half their HP.
Otherwise you have to use the ring. If you can time dodges use that. If you can't then use the aoe + single target.
