Homefront: The Revolution has the best convergent raindrops in gaming. This is the best technical innovation in 2016. Crytek and Free Radical still showing the plebs how it's done.

is it a good game, though?

Crysis 3 looked very nice but as a game it was extremely bad.

>Crysis 3 looked very nice but as a game it was extremely bad.
Crysis 3 was great, though. Possibly the best game in the series. It wasn't bloated and full of aimless wandering like Crysis 1, and wasn't excessively scripted like Crysis 2.

Homefront is a piece of buggy shit

0/10 bait

sage

>aimless wandering
>There are anons who would think Crysis 1 maps are too big

>make threads everyday about Homefront
>every thread is made of webms looking at the floor

what about the game? What is the game like?

>Homefront is a piece of buggy shit
Even after the tens of gigabytes of patches?

How is it bait, though? Crysis 3 struck a balance between Crysis 1 and Crysis 3. Crysis 1 was full of NOTHING. Endless stretches of land that you had to MAXIMUM SPEED across because there was nothing interesting going on. Crysis 2/3 are set in a city, not an empty island full of nothing like Crysis 1 was.

It's basically the game Crytek made people people whined that Crysis 2 was too linear. Core game design is based on Far Cry 3, but there are a bunch of other games tossed into the mix. You fight in decayed urban areas, you sneak around civilian areas, and in the DLC you stealthily fight bandits in a train tunnel and shit. It also has really, really good graphics.

What is with you shilling your shitty game here every other day?

>same muh graphics thread every fucking day

fuck off crytek

Too bad everything else about the game is un-optimized, shoddy boring shit.

Too bad it plays like shit, isn't fun and the characters are boring as fuck.

>Too bad everything else about the game is un-optimized, shoddy boring shit.
Are you retarded? The game shat all over its contemporaries at launch, but people whined that all the particles and lighting and shadows were making their shit PCs run the game badly, so Dambuster downgraded the game a few months ago. It's still one of the best looking FPS games ever made, but it's not as impressive as it used to be.

It wasn't "un-optimized". It was just too ambitious for shitty 2016 hardware.

>plays like shit
Gunplay is great, AI is decent, and the world is fun to traverse and explore. How is that "shit"?

>isn't fun
How is it not fun?

They're former Crytek, technically. Free Radical/Crytek UK/Dambuster.

People like you are the reason PC gaming has been held back for almost a decade. "Muh 60fps", "muh optimization".

...

Homefront got fixed, though. It's considered a dark horse FPS hidden gem now.

t. shill

Not on consoles it didn't.

I read it ran like shit. Does it still run like garbage?

>Not on consoles it didn't.
Uh... Yes it did? Consoles are half the reason for the dynamic lighting downgrades. They spent about 3 months overhauling the game so it would run at 30fps instead of 15fps on the PS4's shit-tier CPU. youtube.com/watch?v=0-An5KmgLgg

See, this is why Ubisoft games get downgraded before release.

Oh well, I care less about graffix and more about gameplay.

Game is shit.

>I read it ran like shit. Does it still run like garbage?
It runs fine now because they downgraded the game's lighting, shadowing, and particle effects because "boo, hoo, it runs at 19fps on PS4" and "boo, hoo, it dips to 40fps on a GTX 1080 on max settings."

>Oh well, I care less about graffix and more about gameplay.
Gameplay and framerate are kinda intertwined. It's hard to free run across rooftops at 20fps.

>Game is shit.
How is it shit, user?
