What's a genre you rarely or never play and/or you just can't get into it?

What's a genre you rarely or never play and/or you just can't get into it?

Pic related, I can't stand racing games.

Sup Forums's meme games

>STALKER
>TF2
>X Souls/borne
>Elder Scrolls
>Fallout 3/Vegas/4
>various MMOs

Fighting games. I'd love to be good at them but I'm just not.

Your list is mostly valid except Soulsborne games. Are you just not good at them?

sports games
grand strategy
moba

What's a good racing game for PS4? Is Driveclub any good?

Racing sims. The cars feels more like calculators than race cars.

CRPGS, or any RPG with a huge emphasis on stats.

I can accept this as individual choices but all at the same time?

I never played an RTS before, doesnt seem fun

Gran Tostito is PS4s premier racing game

Pretty much everything besides fighting games, jrpg's, and platformers/metroidvania.

anything with strategy in the title of the genre

Technical motorsport racers still elude me but I got bitten by the dorifto bug last year when I bought a RWD and watched Initial D

I put too many hours into grid 2, most of which were night touge custom matches with the AI on Very Hard. The S14 is an arcade drift monster in that game, even if Grid 2 isn't as good a game as Grid was.

are there any actual racing games out today? got tired of so many sims about car porn more than arcade fun

RTS.

Also anything that resembles making a collectible card game deck. Deck-building stuff is always a bitch for me. About the only thing I do enjoy is just making my Mega Man Battle Network folder OP.

And i've tried multiple times to get into some of them

what are the best racing games out there right now?

Grand Strategy, Mobas, Fighting Games, MMOs, Sports Games

my prefered genre is fps games and rpgs. i don't mind playing 20 year old games from the 90s with dated graphics and gameplay because i grew up with games like doom and baldurs gate, so there's that.

i can see why people dislike those type of games, but some are worth playing just for the story.

That sonic game

grid is currently free on the humble bundle homepage. it's a bit old but still the best game of the grid series.

In all honesty the Trackmania games

Strategy games, FPS, fighting games, sports games. Not really my thing.

JRPG's, the only one I ever got into was Legend of Dragoon.

They're average at best. Combat is not as good as people say.

try redout

wargame: red dragon fits all your deck building strategy needs

This pretty much

Soulsbourne and shovel knight like games. Can someone tell me why? I think is because they're both so lonely

I've tried MOBAs, RTS, and Grand Strategy games, couldn't get into any of those.

Can't enjoy any fighting game besides Hisoutensoku.

Pretty much everything else goes.

fighting games

it's just mashing buttons

stay in second gear and mash the throttle in corners
You will be slow as fuck but it will be hektik as fuck.

Forza Horizon series
And Forza 6 multiplayer (since 5 the multiplayer has been unintentional Burnout)

Also Age of Empires III

Sports games (besides Blitz)
Racing (some of the NFS games were fine)
Fighting. online play ruined this genre.
MMO's
Simulators.

>shovel knight like
If this is bait 10/10

fpbp

3D platformers and collect-a-thons. Haven't enjoyed a single one in my life, except Crash if you can count that as 3D.

not bait?
I don't find the appeal in games like shovel knight

Strategy RPGs, especially Japanese ones. So much tedium, so much micromanagement. Fucking around getting all your units lined up to the right positions. Leveling and experience systems buried in tons of menus. Overwrought stories weighted down with too much exposition.

I have ADHD and this shit is my fucking kryptonite.

>"actual" racing games
>wants arcade garbage

Those are called 2d platformers or metroidvanias

Multiplayer racing with an opponent of the similar skill feels really good even if at the end you lose. Making corners door to door and barely leaving space for each other for me is one of the best competitions in online gaming.

As others mentioned fighting games and RTS is a thing I can't see myself enjoying. Fighting games feels really limited in that 2D space and I'm too retarded to multitask in RTS.

>one day decide to play a racing game
>do good
>have fun
>play 7 hours
>never play again, although fun didn't diminish or anything

I find them hard to set up on PC. I always have to go undust my never used steering wheel else there's no fun, and after I use it I have to put it back anyway, and it remains unused for another few months.

Fighting games
Grand strategy

Need for speed old series

Everybody's tastes is different :)

puzzle games

>everybody is making racing sims trying to be the next Forza or Gran Turismo and failing
>the only decent arcade racing game is Forza Horizon 1/2/3 and it's not really CRAZY
>Need for Speed 2015 is absolute dogshit
>have to buy a new system to play Mario Kart

Assetto corsa
iRacing
Forza Horizon
Dirt Rally
GT

i wish burnout didn't burnout

ZZYQP-FRW32-YY0JZ

gee, thank you. Didn't expect it, and only wanted to check what it was.

Y9G7L-RRxDN9-9QRRH
JZLTK-MYA64-CVx62E

Western action games featuring sword and shield combat. Just too slow.

I think the classic NFS series ends at Hot Pursuit 2

The nu generation open world street racing NFS are Underground - Pro Street (doesn't really fit in because it's more like Shift 0)

Lamer version of Burnout generation is Hot Pursuit 2010 - Rivals (with cinematic quicktime racer The Run being the odd man out)

Just Shit - NFS Reboot

Extra: Why did you bother making this - Shift 1&2

Any MMORPG

I don't understand why people would ever want to go through digital suffering.

Thanks, user. Installing now

What's the best racing wheel for PC? I want to play more racing/driving games, but I don't want to use a controller or m+kb.
