Eh, I much prefer the first one.
I played 2 for the first time a couple months ago and while the story and the characters were fantastic, the game felt disjointed, even with the restored content. I only managed to complete Barad'Dur, Mirra, and Atton's quest-lines before being abruptly forced into the final mission.

But consider that there's no real Star Wars RPG that wasn't complete shit and KoToR is a passable RPG set in the SW universe, and avoids fucking up any canon, and it's not too bad.
