I'm going to try this once. If the response is positive then I'll look into providing more games for the months to come.
It has become apparent that the quality of Sup Forums has been declining for awhile with no end in sight. There's quite a few reasons for this like mimicking their favorite e-celebs but I won't divulge. What I'm here to do is to try and inject some quality back into the board.
I remember those times when Sup Forums found a game and everyone played it, made jokes with one another and generally HAD FUN, the whole purpose of coming onto Sup Forums (so long as it's not at the expense of other users). Nowadays you don't really hear anything about Sup Forums's game of the month or anything like that because the quality of games and the forced politics nowadays are what's keeping new games from coming out. There's no sense of community anymore. And fuck anyone that says that's not important- this is the path that lack of cummunity has taken us. Anyway that's what I'm here to propose! A sense of cummunism. Gentlemen, I present to you... Ta-dah, Four games that we can explore together for the rest of this month. These have been pulled out of my ass completely, however I assure you they are quality games that every Sup Forumsirgin worth their salt should play.
There's four of them you see and they're from completely different genres. Not only that but they're 100% accessible by anyone, no money or new system needed. What's more I'll be providing links so that you'll have no excuse. Now you might be thinking "Huhhh? Get real, I don't have ti-" IF YOU HAVE TIME TO BROWSE Sup Forums YOU HAVE TIME TO PLAY THESE GAMES, ASSHOLE. CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL.
In the next post I'll tell you about the games and in the one after that I'll provide download links.
>Puyo pop fever This is a fairly popular puzzle game series in japan but a lot of Sup Forumsermin haven't played it I'm sure. It's super cute and lively and will keep you on your toes. The version I've linked is the PC version however you can emulate the gamecube version with Dolphin if you so desire. Play this to get ready for the upcoming Puyo puyo Tetris that'll be localized for the switch and ps4 soon.
>Hundred Furious Fist Momoko: Wonderful Pink 2 This is a simple action game where you control Momoko and beat up dudes. You also get naked later and can enjoy some awesome ENF action. Check it out if you haven't already. The game's in japanese but you'll only really need to know japanese for one section in the third level early on: Break open a wall and there will be a room with a tanuki-looking statue and some vertical writing in the background. The first two lines will always be: のこすたべし はしたらを
The third (rightmost) line changes and this is the clue for what pillar NOT to break. The order you break the other pillars in doesn't seem to matter.
みたどりの = don't break green きいたちの = don't break yellow あたおい = don't break blue
If you don't see either of these three, then don't break red.
>Ganbare NeoPoke-kun This game has you look upon NeoPoke-kun and watch him live his life in his apartment. y'know cookie clicker? This is like that, with one huge difference!!! Neopoke-kun actually MAKES games. So the longer you wait the more games he'll develop. Basically. There's a bit more to it but I'm not entirely sure how it works myself. Definitely worth exploring though.
>Azumanga games Oldies but goodies. Before Easygamestation made Recettear they made Azumanga beach volleyball and Azutama. These games are based off of the wonderful anime classic. Simple but fun! I've also decided to include another Azumanga game: Osaka Simulator. 'nuff said.

I agree with OP about a number of things. I'm mostly wrapped up with System Shock and planning on playing Ace Combat 04 soon. This board has lost a lot of charm. I've been on Sup Forums daily for 10 years. In my mind, it only seems worse now because /vg/ exists. The threads now restricted to that board used to be sort of okay on Sup Forums, but are now circlejerk garbage dumps. Now, Sup Forums is just left with memes and hyper negativity from people trying too hard to fit in. The variety is gone, and so is any balance.
