That's good. When does that play? I've not heard it yet.

In one of the later chapters of the first game
Started playing through the second game, this song is the comfiest so far.

That's pretty awesome shizzle. I'm just at Heimdallr, which is apparently the halfway point. How is II stacking up with I so far?
Gameplay's exactly the same but the story's fantastic, can't talk about the story because it picks off where the last game left off and the last game left off with a fucking bang.
wew lad I almost forgot about that soundtrack
everybody says it's a terrible game but I personally enjoyed it
Not him but I liked Dawn of the Dragon as well. Played it on PS2 ages ago and had a damn good time, especially the "free" flying.
That's good to hear. I went and bought CSII shortly after getting CSI so it's just been sitting around for weeks.

I'd be careful about discussing Cold Steel before playing the games solely because so much happens at the end of the first one, it's a really easy game to spoil.
Aye don't worry. I've been avoiding Trails threads weeks before getting Cold Steel.
I'll make a series of posts, just to avoid dumping everything into a single one.

I can't say I've ever played Silent Hill before but it seems odd that you'd consider the soundtrack "comfy". Not trying to offend or anything but I do think it's quite interesting.
No worries. I get exactly what you mean. It's surprising, though. I guess what makes it so comfy is that a lot of the tracks are very quiet, and are just ambient. The type of stuff you can play in the background and not really notice.

Yeah flying around in the Valley of Avalar while this music plays was an astounding moment in the game.
The sense of serenity and freedom.
and the crushing realization that you will never truly experience such freedom.

Isn't Terranigma that SNES RPG where you go and restore the Earth or something?
Interesting. Can't wait to play Silent Hill actually. Hope I get the same feel.
>Valley of Avalar
That level was astounding. I think that was one of my first experiences with an open environment (first being Transformers 2004) and I loved the freedom and how I could finish the level at my pace. Shit man, there so many people that dislike that game but I have some fond memories of it.
>Interesting. Can't wait to play Silent Hill actually. Hope I get the same feel.
Hope you have a good time with it, user. The horror is very atmospheric, and the music is 70% of the experience.
Yep, and it had a lot of cool tracks

FFX is my favourite game for atmosphere if I'm honest. The music in the environments is just fantastic.
Sounds neat. I'll add it to the ever-growing backlog.

I guess this isn't what you'd call comfy but it was always nice to return home to this.

Started Atelier Sophie today, also my first venture into the Atelier series. It's been really comfy so far so I thought I'd share these.
