Will you be getting the best reason to own a PS4?

Will you be getting the best reason to own a PS4?

I already bought her game.

yeah it comes out tomorrow.

Already own a PS4, played the alpha, beta and last chance demos, and have already pre-ordered the digital deluxe edition.

Yes, pretty pissed I would have to get the digital version for that sick as theme though.

>tfw already bought all three of these

yeaaaano.
hell no.

Really fun in the alpha, enemies dropped loot like pinatas and you needed to figure out what to carry and what to use, and balance strength of gear versus weight and durability, also made having 2 weapons that were properly powerful of the utmost import.

Beta removed durability and made the game a joke because you can get a really really strong weapon from a twilight mission and just fucking win everything because it'll destroy all your other gear five times over in terms of strength.

The newest test just made it worse, all the soul forging and reforging means you can get a good base weapon, and if it's purple, just upgrade it forever. It was like that in the beta too but there were much shittier potential lines to roll from so it wasn't as big of a deal.

In this one I used the first purple 2kat I found and upgraded it to level 31 I think before I got bored of grinding. There was no reason to use anything else.

kusarigama are also ridiculous. Part OP because they pull humans towards you and deal 8-9 hits a second, but then also stupid because ANY and all yokai pull you towards them. I get that most yokai are big and initimidating but the little footsoldier skeleton guys shouldn't pull me towards them, especially when they don't get fucking staggered.

waiting for the price drop in a sale for this.

is it different from the one you get for pre-ordering at gamestop?

>tfw getting all three

Do I miss out on the preorder armor if I didn't go digital? Fuck digital.

Already pre ordered. Came an hour late to play las chance demo.

I'm mildly scared.

Is it the bloody grave theme?

t. conquered

This.
I want a physical special edition damn it.

The demos felt more like a chore to get all the marks

It isn't that good.
Maybe for 20 bucks later. That seems like a fair price for such a weak game.

yes.

Really? I only saw that available for the digital version. Might need to preorder from gamestop then.

They all come with the theme and the black armor. The red armor is digital exclusive after the first week, but anyone that buys the game in the first week gets it.

Digital Deluxe edition comes with 5 weapons (Presumably level 5 shit and recipe books for them so you can make high-end versions in the endgame.)

And the three headpieces for the demos.

I couldn't find a big image of the kusarigama from the deluxe but you can kind of see it in the smaller image and you can tell the visual style from the other four.

Nioh sucked, will get Automata instead. Also thisAnd motherfucking TEKKEN 7.

>a chore

You just play the game, how was it a chore?

It looks like the deluxe is digital only, but if you preorder from game stop you should be able to get the black samurai guard armor.
Feeling pretty torn on what to do my self I really want all them extra goodies, buuuut also want a physical copy so later on down the road when I've exhausted the game I can trade it in.

Nier is literally garbage, the gameplay is so dumbed down a blind deaf disabled monkey with down syndrome could beat it by rolling their face across the controller.

Spoken like a true conquered.

Will definitely pick this up at some point yes. Maybe not on release but eventually.

damn that one demon helmet is fuckin rad. I might have to get the Digital Deluxe Edition. how much is it?

Thanks m8

I didn't feel like playing but I had to because it was just available for that weekend.

I couldn't let people call me conquered for not having done it so I had to play all the demos.
And now I don't think I am going to buy the game at all.

>but if you preorder from game stop you should be able to get the black samurai guard armor.
see Black is the pre-order bonus everywhere.

Digital deluxe is $80 if I recall, but the demon helmet is from clearing the demos, not from deluxe.

No matter what it turns out to be, The Mark of the Conqueror is significant.

Before I say why I need to divide the Souls community into two general groups - Conquerors and Conquered - and quickly define both.

Both have basically been around since Demon's Souls, but the very nature of the Conquered demands that the Conquerors come first. Why? Because Conquers beat the path and light the way. Afterward, like mold or a rot, the Conquered seep into the community, ever at the heels of the Conquerors.

How is that? Either by a lack of information upon release or due to a self-imposed restriction, the Conqueror goes in blind. Conquerors embrace the challenge From Software has extended with each release in their Souls/Bloodborne Series while the Conquered abhor it. While Conquerors scratched and clawed their way through levels and boss fights, the Conquered poured over FAQs, Strategy Guides, Wiki Articles, Google Search Results, Let's Plays and How to Videos.

Therefore the Conquered subsist by virtue of the illumination spread over From's games by the Conquerors, entirely dependent on it. Overtime they've let themselves forget this, fancying themselves old hands as they bring their borrowed knowledge and tactics to bear on each successive release.

And then here comes fucking Nioh, reminding the Conquered who they really are. And with little to no documentation in sight they hide behind shitposts so they can cling to that "gud" status they worked so hard to attain. Eventually they'll be back. Once the Conquerors have shown the way, that is.

And that's why The Mark of the Conqueror is significant. No matter how superficial, uselessly cosmetic or quickly outclassed it is, it stills says I'm not .

No, I'm a Conqueror.

I don't get this circlejerk

Getting the marks isn't even that hard, I did it in a sitting

lol no. its a BB wannabe

>trade it in

Who does this?

I only got the play the tail end of the Last Chance demo.

I don't get the Ki system.

Ki is essentially stamina, correct? If so, the Ki system is similar to an active reload system from like in GoW. You use up Ki and if you "reload" at the right moment you get your highlighted Ki back. If you mess up the timing you have to wait to get Ki back.

Assuming the above is correct, I kept getting really confused on what attacks cost Ki. The tutorial said that Low stance attacks, and Light Medium stance was not supposed to use Ki. Heavy Medium Stance and High Stance attacks were all supposed to cost Ki. The trade off was the attacks that used Kit caused considerably more damage.

It seemed like all attacks cost Ki though. Then I am not sure when to use which stance. I assumed High stance was against slow but, durable opponents while low stance was against the other end of the spectrum. Medium was your all rounder stance.

I remember getting Dark Souls III in store with the season pass code. How comes they don't do that here. Assuming each DLCs are gonna be 15$ x 3 you sure get fuck in the ass going physical.

t. conquered

>not going to buy it

Conquered

>The alpha has the best helmet
why am I not surprised

look forward to the game but imagine what could have been

which one is the red full mask one? I never finished the Beta or Last Chance Demos. actually I might not have finished the first one now that I think about it. fuck.

lol that's quite the collection you've got there my man.

I guess I am.

I still think it is a great game its just that the demos and Sup Forums have ruined it for me.

That's exactly the kind of post a false-flagging conquered would make. Typical.

>The tutorial said that Low stance attacks, and Light Medium stance was not supposed to use Ki
No, they just use it a lot less.

Yeah, Yakuza looks great

I hope you're not talking about yet ANOTHER Souls-like, this time featuring Ken-sama

>>The alpha has the best helmet
>why am I not surprised
To be fair, alpha was where you could have gotten the helmet the first time.

Beating hino-enma on twilight in beta, or the last chance demo twilight would still get it for you.

Beating Onryoki in the Alpha gets you the Onryoki helmet, the one you're asking about. Nue was optional, so as long as you beat the first boss, you're good. Beating hino-enma on regular in Beta would give you the bat helmet, and beating her in Twilight would get you a second chance at getting the Onryoki helmet.
Beating the ogress in the last chance trial got you that long horned oni mask, and beating the ogress in the twilight version of the mission got you both the hino enma and onryoki helmets once again.

Spoken like a true conquered.

I'm just going to go in and ask the sales clerk tomorrow, I honestly love that new game smell. If not, fuck it I'll just go digital deluxe. Loved the demo from this past weekend, and have no problem spending 10$ extra for the dlc and loot

I heard you will be able to get the ogress helmet in the game anyway. Is it the same thing for the oni and bat one ?

so the last chance demo could get you all 3? it was only like a 3 day thing right?

About to grow a lot this year

This makes me feel like there are only 5 melee weapon types. That's garbage.

>that retarded amount of damage

Am I supposed to be impressed by that, conquered?

Is this ironic

it's pasta

How many more could you possibly need when each one has high low and mid stance

don't forget that you also save taxes going digital.
It matters here in Canada since the digital deluxe is going out for 99$.

No.

For some reason the worst part of the Souls fanbase glombed onto Nioh.

>I heard you will be able to get the ogress helmet in the game anyway.
You heard wrong. None of the trials helmet are obtainable any more, you probably misunderstood the notice about the onryoki helmet.

People were complaining they weren't able to download it, even though they unlocked the other two, so sony put out a statement saying onryoki hellmet won't be downloadable until the game launches, which some retard spread as "everyone will be able to getit"

Unfortunately if you missed out, you won't be able to get any of the three.

Yes, and two days, actually. To get the alpha and beta rewards, though, you needed to complete hard mode version of the mission.

>Retarded amount of damage.
>500~ regular hit
>1500~ critical
>Retarded amount
Spoken like a true conquered.

Stop woth the falseflag shit.

I was probably doing a third of that damage when I beat Mushishitter. So yeah, that's a lot of fucking damage.

More, because I'm not a faggot.

The system practically begs for tonfas.

I see.

As for myself I'll be fine. I completed the Alpha, Beta and just had enough time to beat the ogress and finish the stage. Didn't try new Muneshige or twilight tho

Fantastic point, that will save you a butt load in the long run, were you to buy the dlc piece by piece.

5 melee weapon categories, each one with two weapon types (Heavy and light)
3 Ranged weapon categories (Bows come in longbow and shortbow, don't know about canons and rifles)
All melee types have high, mid, and low stance.
Only and Ninjutsu have extra weapons like shuriken, kunai, scrolls, traps, etc...

Sounds fine to me.

>only got a ps4 recently so missed the other demos
>last chance demo, sweet
>install over weekend
>try to launch today
>can't play it because the period is over
it's not like I wanted to play the game or anything

yeah probably. Its not the best but it going to be pretty fun

Tonfas would be tight.

That sounds like a you problem. Maybe if you weren't such a conquered, you could get gud.

Day 1 purchase

>Yes, and two days, actually. To get the alpha and beta rewards, though, you needed to complete hard mode version of the mission.
this was meant for

>after much time of collecting dust from being a BB machine, yakuza nioh and gr2 comes out
>my lil bro brings over nigger friends and my ps4 goes missing
too cool

If I buy a game digitally with dlc. Will the dlc work on a physical copy? ie ds3 or bloodborne dlc

They think they're cool progamers because they finished a demo most people didn't bother with because of how bad it was. If anything, conquered means you're ok while conqueror means you're an autistic virgin cuck.

the masks are for the beta and the red set is a preorder bonus
what about the black set?

don't care about the weapons

Gotta have 2 in case one gets up in the middle of the night and walks out

Well spoken conquered.

I felt the demos were too easy to farm and level and I really wonder how they will balance leveling throughout the game and how twilight will affect it. I don't want the end game to be that breakable.

>conquered means you're ok

No, it means you couldn't even beat a single short level in a weekend

Black set and the theme are for pre-ordering the game anywhere.

Red set is a pre-order bonus anywhere for the first week. After the first week, it only comes with digital.

tl;dr
If you pre-ordered you're getting both sets no matter where you got them.

>conquered means you're ok

No, it means you couldn't even beat a single short level in a weekend

t. conquered

(TL Note: t. means Regards)

>yakuza 0

It's funny. I would probably have gotten that game if I didn't play Yakuza 1-5.
That series rehashes itself so hard that I just can't get excited for 0. It embodies the "been there, done that" feeling.

This is why I went with Gravity Rush 2.

I'm getting Nioh because the alpha and beta gave me the same kind of feeling I haven't had since the original Demon's Souls.

I love this game as fuck but I just can't help to shove out extra money for season pass of contents I know nothing about.
1 mission 1 side mission
2 armor set
new weapon skin for each types

I don't know, give me something to know

t. Means regards, it's foreign internet slang!

When did PS4 become so based lads?

>PvP
will be free
>Dragon of the North – Venture deep into Japan’s embattled Northern provinces
>Defiant Honor – Fight in the bloody Winter Campaign of the Siege of Osaka
>Bloodshed’s End – Bring the Siege of Osaka to an end during the Summer Campaign

Conquered means as person who did not get the conqueror, and you get the conqueror by literally just beating the first mission.

Conquered literally means you were to incompetent to beat the first boss in the game.

>1 mission 1 side mission
fuck
that's nothing

I'm just throwing stuff out. What I meant is that we have to pay for something we know nothing about but hey ! We get a discount about it !

>not even realizing these answers prove my point
t.conquerors aka autistic virgin cucks

>More, because I'm not a faggot.

There are more weapon types, but they use the same movesets as the ones already in the game.

If you add too many you will just lower the quality of all of them since it spreads focus and diminishes polish. This is especially true since each weapon type has 3 stances and the different weapons also have skill trees.

So unlike in say the Soulsborne games each weapon has more depth.

thought it was ff7 remake

>>Dragon of the North – Venture deep into Japan’s embattled Northern provinces
>>Defiant Honor – Fight in the bloody Winter Campaign of the Siege of Osaka
>>Bloodshed’s End – Bring the Siege of Osaka to an end during the Summer Campaign

Are these things you get for buying the season pass, or are they the content of the season pass? Because, if they're the content, that doesn't seem very good, you'd expect a season pass to net you at least one new weapon type, spirit, couple new armor sets and I'm sorry but looking at the length of the missions we've seen since alpha, I'd want no less than ten new missions for the entire season pass, no chance in hell three total, with no new spirits or weapon types are enough to justify the purchase.

t. conquered trying to change a definition of a word to ease his hurt feels.

t. Means regards, it's foreign internet slang!

t. Means regards, it's foreign internet slang!

t. conquered

>being a jelous conquered bitch

I'm sorry you couldn't manage to beat the level. I came home piss drunk and managed to do what you couldnt.

6 would still be better than 5, retard. The game needs more variety and even one more would go a long way.

t. Means regards, it's foreign internet slang!

I would assume campaign means multiple levels.
