ITT: Non awful, even decent movie tie-ins from 2000 onwards

Currently playing pic related, hadn't played it since it came out in 2004 and I am surprised it's not a gigantic pile of trash

it was fun
never beat it though because it required some qte button combo to finish dr doom off that you never NEEDED to use on any of the other bosses

The GBA one isn't that bad either.

Spiderman 2

Star Wars Revenge of the Sith was a pretty good movie game

The game of Peter Jackson's King Kong.
Lot of people here say it didn't deserve to be as good as it was.

I used to love playing this game. Peter Jackson's King Kong was also a great game.

The GBA version was fun.

The incredibles is one of the best animated movies even by todays standards.

Not this shit again, the game was only acceptable in 2004 because muh open world and the god-tier webswinging, everything else was mediocre at best.

>when the game is better than the movie it's based on

oh no

Madagascar for the PS2 was actually a fairly decent 3D platformer.

The thing with licensed games like this is they actually get a pretty decent budget. Having a really shitty game is bad for the brand, so they don't skimp out on them completely. That said, none of them are going to blow you away, they're kind of crafted to be 7-8/10 at absolute best. Going with the lowest-risk option is a common thing in films, and it translates to their games as well.

G-Force. It was like Ratchet and Clank meets Toy Story. i liked it

>Jedi Outcast
>Jedi Academy
>Battlefront
>Battlefront 2
the rest were bad

also Ive never seen the actual movie

obligatory mention, way better than the movies too

...

It was pretty good i think

oh fuck, this was a good game

this too

Someone post the subtle tiddy jiggle webm

Resevoir DOgs
Scarface: The world is yours
The godfather
Peter Jackson's King Kong.
TRhe punisher

Madagascar was my jam

I loved the minigolf mini game

Yes

Still my favorite Pixar film of all

any PS1 Disney platform game really. Play the DC version of all of them though if available

Peter Jackson's King Kong
All 3 Spiderman movie games
Lego Star Wars I and II (I guess it counts?)
The 2008 Hulk game wasn't so bad either

>Release date: 30 November 1999

>my jam

Rope yourself.

I have played it since it came out but I remember the game of From Russia With Love being pretty decent.

Also Toy Story 3, forgot about that one

I bought this game thinking it would be shovelware but it actually turned out being pretty good
I just wanted to know why the hell they thought it was a good idea to release this in the exact same day as mgsv

it was fun

>suggesting someone terminate their life early by commiting suicide via rope, for the use of a phrase you do not particularly agree with.

Wasn't this film just Jumanji in space?

The Chronicles of Narnia and Incredible Hulk

i remember fucking up those robofaggots on a special arena you could get in with cheats. Shit was awesome, aren't they making a movie sequel? I hope they use the second game's plot.

Yes

Exactly

The hell is your problem?

i never beat first level because lack of tutorial .
it was good game . also sequel was literally incredibles 2 story.

this was better then movie
faggot taste

Underrated survival horror.

X MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE

Game was solid and I remember having loads of fun playing it

This and the Over The Hedge game were pretty fucking great.

...

...

Came here to post this, I spent way too much playing that.

Pretty sure this is on Steam, for some reason.

It's decent, but the ending was pants on head retarded.

played both of them.
had fun playing both of them.
never finished both of them.

You're a genuine retard.

>the older sister wanted to plow the future version of her hooligan brother
She was pretty too

Sup Forums poisoning

And product placement.

Absolutely

i loved this shit

This game had no right to be as fun as it was.

patrician taste detected

I got to the last level easily, but for some reason I could never fire the final claw cannon thing, it would spin up but never fire. Was 10 year old me retarded or was that a legitimate bug?

Also holy shit I always got my brother to do the finishers on doom. The multiplayer on that game was great.

Spider-Man 2.

worked on my machine

>"What the fuck it's just some dumb shooter"
>FPS parts are actually really atmospheric
>All of the King Kong sections are just garbage

Hahah, hell yeah dude, hell yeah... oh fuck.

>Anakin with Force Lightning

Oh my god yes! I used to have a blast playing it on PS2. I'm gonna go re-pick that game up when I have the chance. Thanks for reminding me of it user.

Pic related is one of my favourite movie games despite not being much a fan of racing games. Got it on PS2 as a birthday present fucking ages ago and had a good time. The game had this really big hub which was actually really fun to expore and shit, and the visuals were actually really impressive desu.

Is The Force Unleashed better than this?

Funnily enough I just started playing FU on pc.

Too early for me to gauge which is better, sorry.

Batman Begins

People rave about Arkham titles, but this game goes basically unnoticed despite being quite good.

>Go Ahead, Make My Day.
That shit was stuck in my head forever, also mashing X (Gamecube) A lot.

Playing this co-op with my friend was great. I used to always pkay as the fairy during the prison break level since the pixie dust thing was overpowered.

>IT'S HERO TIME

Dat alt ending where anakin dosent end up becoming vader and kills obi wan.

Same user Favourite licensed game that I can think of is probably 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue. It was just some PS1 platformer but it was surprisingly fun.

>Over The Hedge
Shit I remember playing Over the Hedge on my DS like a decade ago or something. It was the only DS game I had when I first got it. I remember it being really fun and I liked how the bottom screen was a 3D map.

He was already Vader

Well I didn't remember it very but it was still pretty cool

disney goes back and forth on giving a shit about PC ports

>It's okay I got enough magazines
>It's okay I got enough magazines
>It's okay I got enough magazines
>It's okay I got enough magazines
>It's okay I got enough magazines

This game is fantastic, and it was completely overshadowed by MGSV, since they released on the same day.

Does the bamham series count? Asylum and City were great.

Not really since they weren't really attached to a movie or anything. They do, however, count as shining examples of what licensed games can be.

Every thread

TROOOOOOOOOPIC!

A lot of Jimmy Nutron game's are surprisingly fun

Worth the price of admission for the multiplayer alone
Sure it was hilariously unbalanced and kinda wonky at times, but damn if it wasn't just plain, stupid fun

Is that the not-shit version of Dark Angel?

Pretty gud beat em up

This game was hard as shit.

>inferno cop has a GBA game
nani

>ywn play an Inferno Cop game
God fucking dammit. Why even live bros?

This legitimately is up there in my favorite pre-2007 games list.

>tfw no Ninja Slayer game with full blown single-frame combat and elaborate stealth sequences as Nancy

The putt putt game in this was so fucking fun. Also I'm just now realizing how the penguin levels are kinda similar to Metal Gear Solid.

I had some serious difficulties with that last "shooting" mission of the ship. I guess I was ultra-casual
