Every time a family member comes in and sees me play games I get embarrassed and either pretend I'm on my phone and not playing or purposefully pause the game and politely make conversation until they leave.

It's not that annoying but it happens at least once a week with different places and it gets on my fucking nerves when I'm playing online

I remember family being a nuisance back when I was a kid. Especially when the family had only one computer and it was placed in the living room, the sofa for TV watching right behind it.
