Literally name it The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind 2

Or would it be The Legend of Zelda 2 with a new subtitle. Sweat of the Niggers.

Remake it but this time don't make it suck complete dick

prequel, sequel to prequel, then remake

Give it the Blood Dragon treatment

with a really really poor game so the one after that can be praised as a "return to what makes zelda zelda" you retard
they always do this

The Legend of Link. Basically Link and Zelda swap roles, ya know, for the younger generation.

make a really strange sequel that alienates a bunch of people, then make another game like botw again, and hardly iterate.
that's what nintendo has done for years. that's what they did with skyward sword.

By making a good game next time.

Wind Waker 2: Link's Awakening

You have to bring out the big guns, senpai.

Make a game with TP's artstyle.

I'm fucking tired of this cel-shading meme holy fuck.

make a game in the same setting but set far in the past?

how the fuck do you make a follow up to this 4

those "black sheep" always garner a cult following too, and keep interesting in the series up. it allows them to please both sides while putting in minimal effort. pretty brilliant actually.

More than likely just a prequel 100 years ago.

>Do all this fucking work and still lose anyways when you "beat" the game

Million dollar masterpiece.

I would make a sidescroller/metroidvnia where Zelda is in a deep slumber and you need to figure out a way to wake her up

>5
>follow up to 4

Wow...2

a zelda set in the year 201X

I'll follow up your five with this 6

you make the same game but this time the moon will crush the planet if you don't time travel or some bullshit

Duck in the corner against the last boss.

I'm working on a podcast conversation with some people about this very topic. There are so many things BotW complicates for a sequel. The Voice Acting is a huge one. The open world stuff. I think this game is much better than any game since OoT, and it improves so much. Where do they go now?

OOT remake (again)

or lttp remake.

>The Legend of Zelda: Lylat Wars

You don't. Nintendo knows the world is ending soon.

>BOTW is the best game of all time
>therefore, the next Zelda is going to be a disappointment

sony will always win...sigh...

You don't.
Nintendo died with Satoru Iwata.
This was the last game he touched.
Miyamoto is fading
Reggie only serves to be a living meme
The rest of the forefathers are gone
This game is Nintendo's farewell game.
Enjoy it.

name one zelda that has a sequel named with a 2

Zelda 2: The adventure of Link.

>Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link
What do I win?

what a stinker to go out on.

>tfw no more good metroids

okay.png

A Link Between Worlds is a sequel and the japanese version is called ALttP 2.

The Legend of Zelda: One Dawn

Task a B-team with taking the same engine and pulling another game out of their ass in a year, because it worked pretty fucking well the last time.

literally the second zelda

A Zelda MMO. And I bet it would be fucking glorious.

No no, there's a new one that just came out called Breath of the Wild.

They wil obviously use the BotW engine again so a sequel isnt that unthinkable

Also i heard that the original tloz was supposed to be in a futuristic setting, so maybe they go that route to spice things up

My dream game would be a Hyrule MMO with btows engine though

I hope you anons stay well and healthy by 2022 when we get the next 3D Zelda.

>Ganon possesses Andross
>Epona is Link's Arwing

I wanna be on the pod so just reference me as "G Dawg"

Since this game was created for the Wii U and then ported over to the Switch whatever comes next if it's going to be nearly as successful as BOTW is going to have to be better in every major aspect of "what makes a game" by around 45%. These categories include graphics, combat, character interaction, variety of enemies, dungeon complexity, boss fights, etc.

Like you said, BOTW is such a great game that it does beg the question "where do you go from here?"
And oddly enough I think the answer to that is "Mario"

Mario Odyssey has to be as important to the Mario sandbox (64/sunshine) portion of the franchise as BOTW was to every major 3D Zelda game.
This is the only way to distract the public from discussing the possibility of another Zelda game too soon or else we'll get another majora's mask, which was cool then, but would NOT fit the mold regarding game release schedules (for Nintendo) and overall quality (for Nintendo) today.
Any other company can get away with putting out a game every year or two for their big IPs but if Nintendo did then the Magic would be gone.

Give it good combat, a better overworld, actual tools rather than everything being physics, music, a story, a stable framerate, and actual dungeons.

Don't know how you guys are jizzing over this game but it's seriously some Ubisoft level stuff.

>Link morphs into Star Wolf.

Nah they've already said they've put too much effort in making the botw engine to just start fresh again. We'll get another one in 2-3 years imo

A side-scrolling action game with deep combat mechanics.

(You)

What's wrong with the combat? It's more engaging than dark souls

It feels extremely shallow, the difficulty seems to come from things simply 1-shotting you and that's it.

How the fuck do you make a follow up to Ocarina of Time?
How the fuck do you make a follow up to Wind Waker?

You abandon your console business make it 3rd-party for a console that can actually handle next-gen graphics.

Wouldn't the next logical step be to have building and shitty crafting?

I think Nintendo could make that played out shit fun. The cooking is simple as shit but somehow really enjoyable.

>same engine

no thanks

The fuck? How is it shallow? You literally have hundreds of options at your disposal.

I think you're the one who is shallow here. This game is only limited by your imagination. Besides the game isn't even that hard since the shield parry window is huge and you can parry almost everything.

and make a small map.
twilight princess size

There are a hundred things you can do to get the upper hand.

More dlc goy

They just need to add more loli waifus. The rest is irrelevant.

Just keep updating it over the decades until it's full of content.

Majora's Mask 2. Rearrange the assets, create a new twisted world to explore and add some cool gimmicks.

Voi lá.

>tfw this game is amazing, everything I hoped it would be
>tfw it could have been 1080p 60 fps on an actual modern game console, if Nintendo wasn't so desperate for its portability gimmick

Kill me now

>ad hominem
*sigh* and you were doing SO well...
