I don't know if SE is even allowed to have expectations, they didn't advertise the PC version at all and it's the first Taro game on PC so most people probably aren't aware of the IP. I wouldn't be surprised if it flopped, I hope it does well though.

I'll be honest I hated god hand. It felt like it was a device to tell the joke storyline. The gameplay felt like one of the ps1 era 3d beat-em-ups. Cause that's basically what it was.

Depends on region, also Nier is currently not on steam front page while nearly everything else on that top list is. It will probably end up on front page again when the game is released. A lot of people buy it from non-steam sites like Greenmangaming too. I think it's like 10 EUR off there, or even cheaper if you get your prices in GBP.
