Hey Sup Forums its been awhile. Post Sup Forumsidya masks and maybe I'll make one.

What the fuck did they do the fucking mask?

...

Honestly my favorite mask in gaming. Probably all of fiction.

I've been meaning to do that one but it is pretty simple.

I gotchu senpai

...

Are you a bad enough dude to make this?

Fuckin' radical.

Everything about Jack was awesome, to the point where I feel like he needs to be in more. He was shown too little for someone so cool.

...

This is one of the most requested, and I've been meaning to do it. I'm currently making a Leonhard the Ringfinger mask.

That actually wouldn't be too hard, lots of foam sculpting.

Unfortunately they made an awesome villain who never got to return for some reason.

...

ever thought of doing the elite knight helm?

...

I have, it's just been done a good amount and they practically sell a cheap steel replica.

Make this one, then.send it to me

...

does this count?

...

I made one right around the time Black came out. I could've done a better job but foam latex deteriorates.

Sort of? Not sure how you could make that thing wearable without being uncomfortable or displaying it.

...

That's an awesome helmet.

>Unfortunately they made an awesome villain who never got to return for some reason.

There are a lot of things I wish fable hadn't done. I loved to and thought 3 was alright, but 1 was something else. I appreciate that they tried advancing the setting to different time periods with each game, but I feel like that killed some of the magic. They honestly nailed a pure fantasy setting the first time, and everything in it was great.

Jake of Blades for guest villain in every series when?

They could very well make him a recurring villain. But they never went anywhere with him.

...

what the fuck was the fused shadow even supposed to be? I just remember midna wore it to grow some fucking big-ass arms and open the last dungeon

You could do the broken version maybe, though its much more of a hat than a mask.

Bioshock masks where?

The eye piece could be hard.

Yep that can be done using foam. I've seen some pretty awesome ones done.

You can actually make a good bit of the splicer masks altering cheap Halloween masquerade masks.

Do helmets count?

Are you a girl or just long hair? Or is it just a tail from the helmet and I'm a fag

Remember when Jack had that really squeeky kind of wacky voice? I rememebr that making me much more... Eerie in a way. Rather than his deeply more generic voice in TLC?

Been so long since I played TP. I only remember the shattered pieces being called artifacts, I think, and the giant arms you mentioned. I guess it's just some Twilight Realm elder god thing.

I'm thinking of making a Ranger costume eventually. Doomguy holds a special place in my heart.
I'm a guy, each of these helmets comes with the "plume"
His original british voice I think was perfect.

How would one get into mask making OP?

Seems like a pretty fun hobby to be quite desu with you. I'm interested

You make some cool shit OP, good on you.

...

well, to start I would stop posting on Sup Forums

I've been doing it for 15 years or so but I would start by picking up some Chavant NSP clay. Getting a head armature (amazon sells a really good one for 20$) and some sculpting tools. If you want my FB is @walridercosplay feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks Daggoth

Its basically the Twili equivalent of Fierce Diety Mask.

I'm working on that

>man I sure do love masks but I also really hate having all this extra wood lying around and also a chisel
>hey wait a minute

...

Mask of the Child would be great

Haha, wood is very hard to work with if you're trying to make a mask.

Indeed, Mask of the father would probably come first.

...

>man I sure do love masks but I also really hate having all this extra peanut brittle lying around and also a chisel
>hey wait a minute

It's disappointing, but at least I can take solace that everything that threatened Albion afterwards was his fault.

My favorite thing about that part though is that none of it was intentional. The world consuming darkness shit that came after was an accidental side-effect of him and the Court.

...

WE WUZ MASKS N SHIT

Are these from the new Zelda? I haven't had the chance to check it out.

I never really considered that.

The fuck are these from? They're cool as hell.

...

Yeah, the original voice was perfect. The association that kind of voice has with people in positions of power helped to hammer home that this thing saw you and everyone else as something far below him. Especially when he did that one sarcastic voice. You know the one.

Probably an oft-requested one, but I love Revan's jacked Mando mask.

This one count?

A good friend of mine did the movie version. Thing was heavy as shit.

Hellboy II: The Golden Army
Concept art for troll masks, that never made it past sketches.
I agree they look Zelda as fuck, but i don't know why

...

IF I PULL THAT OFF WILL YOU DIE?

IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY PAINFUL

Ever considered making Dagoth Ur's mask?

I...it would be very pp..painful.

...

Fuck yes Bionicles

...

I've considered doing lots of things, some morally questionable. A lot of my masks I do just for fun or to make the costume around it. But I do take commissions and most of the masks posted I have molds of .

don't fuck it up or you going to piss a lot of people off (like from software did when they didnt put that in the final game).

I like that things seemingly got progressively less magical as time went on and society advanced. I do like that trope, even if it somewhat hurts in this example.

Oh I know DS2 was such a disappointment. DS3 was a bit disappointing to me as well especially coming after BB.

lucatiel's questline was so boring, its ashame its the only "real" questline in dark souls 2. everyone just meets you back in majula or hangs out in their home city (like Lonesome Gavlaan in doors of pharros).

...

Can you imagine if he secretly made the in-game manikin mask while pretending to make the pretty one, and then just uploaded the picture of the in game one?

well hold on there buddy, das2 is my favorite BUT they screwed up a lot things that could have made it an amazing sequel. Tl;dr better weapons than das1 and das3, better covenants, etc.

The funny thins about Dark Souls 2 for me is that I genuinely enjoyed it. Not NEARLY as much as 1, but I still had fun. Especially with the STRONKEST build.

How do you make your masks/what materials do you use?

even DaS3 had better covenants

...

...

I mean I guess it wasn't terrible, esp with SoTFS, but just like DS3 it didn't really feel right to me.

wait you mean or the creator of the mask for from software? sorry i'm in not very mentally sharp today.

shhh don't let le true dank souls fans hear you

how about an edgy as heck chakravartin mask?

dude no, so many of those covenants are much more unique and almost all can be ranked up in offline.

...

...

What up walrider, good to see you still ridin wals.

i fucking loved these guys so much

oh shit what up walrider

its been too long lad. where have you been?

Not OP, but I made this for a friend of mine for Halloween once.

How do you feel about helmets?

>"I wanted to search through some image resources not typically used in games. So I searched in various places and eventually ended up looking at bronze artifacts from the Shang dynasty. I felt like I could feel life within them, and their shape and form were really interesting."
>Interview with Yusuke Nakano (Art and Artifacts (Dark Horse Books), pg. 420)

>People dissing a game where you can dual wield binoculars.
>People dissing a game where you can two-hand your fist.

Not only Sup Forums, actually Sup Forums, but c'mon...

Got any pics?

Damn straight, walls all around us buddy. With something like that you would honestly have to make the entire costume. Most of it is connected to other pieces.
Busy, been doing commissions and RL shit. Been competing alot and waiting on the new Quake.
I like Helmets but good god are they a bitch to make. The cainhurst helm took so long to sculpt.

...

Don't think so. I'm not even sure it was all that faithful as I had never played manhunt and was going off his description.
