So I just got an old hand-me-down smartphone (Galaxy S II) and holy fuck I don't know where to start when it comes to mobile vidya.

I enjoy any genre, but hate games with P2W elements. Unfortunately seems like those are all-too-common in the current market.

What are Sup Forums's recommendations when it comes to mobile vidya? Preferably 100% free ones.

there are no good mobile video games

They don't have to be good. They have to be passably entertaining.

My standards aren't *that* high. I just don't want to deal with P2W bullshit.

>but hate games with P2W elements
>Preferably 100% free ones
you ain't gonna find shit

Hey, you never know, brah.

Also, how come every mobile game has a logo like this? Silly.

Not the ones I play

KOTOR

Prove it.

I've played the shit out of that on PC. Plus it's incompatible with my crappy hand-me-down phone.

>Where to start on mobile """"""games""""""

...don't

There's no decent mobile games. Trust me. I have tried.

You might find something that you specifically like though.

I fucking love SimplePlanes and subterfuge, but I can guarantee you wouldn't care for them

Downwell

Joke's on you I think both those look neat in their own ways.

>He hasn't played Battlecats

The only passable mobile games are the Kariosoft games. The free versions will give you enough of an idea if you want to pick any of them up. Game Dev Story is probably still the best, but they all have neat things.

Slayin'
Tap Rising
Time surfer
Puzzle Forge 2
Pixel dungeon
Fairune,
linear zelda

Super cat bros

Thanks for the recommendations, anons!

Just get an emulator or something. Galaxy S2 is trash btw

Deemo
Cytus
Tone Sphere
KHuX
Voez

I play idle oil tycoon

the gameplay is literally nothing but watching numbers go up, I don't think it gets more autistic than that

Get a GBA emulator and play stuff like fire Emblem or Pokemon. It's comfy as hell.

The only two decent mobile games that I know are:
- Hoplite (mix between oldschool roguelike and puzzle, some in-app purchases, but absolutely not P2W).
- Battlefleet Gothic - Leviathan (turn based tactics with 40k spaceships, sadly extremely limited by the mobile format. Gotta pay for it though).

Never claimed it wasn't. In fact I could have sworn I mentioned that it was a hand-me-down!

I'll look into it, thanks!

G one. It's a Puzzle League/Panel de Pon clone with LAN play. It's good, zero pay elements whatsoever, including the app itself.

i like vainglory and love live but im a piece of shit

I NEVER play videogames on my phone tbqh
1. most of them are shit or cost money or have micro transactions
2. I rather listen to music to kill the time

Dandy Dungeon.

Ever play Chulip on the PS2? Same guy.

>Pixel dungeon

Pixel Dungeon is fine but it's also open-source with a lot of variations, the "vanilla" game is pretty dull. I have Yet Another Pixel Dungeon installed, makes a few improvements.

pocket trains is nice
