"Transgender" is a politically correct term for someone with gender dysphoria, a mental illness in which someone is born as one gender and believes they're another.
Transsexual is the step up from dysphoria in which the person mutilates their genitals and artificially changes sexes.
Transsexuals are worse than transgenders, and SJWs never talk about transsexuals. At least transsexuals are willing to go through with their lifestyle, no matter how mentally-ill it may be. Transgenders crossdress, put on wigs (or shave their heads in the case of women-to-men) and call themselves full-on transpeople and demand society respect them. They're crossdressers, but with an objective, bona fide mental illness.
