Bloodstained for Wii U cancelled in favor of Switch

>Hello, this is IGA.

>During our Kickstarter campaign, the Wii U was at the height of its popularity, but the situation has drastically changed after the release of Nintendo Switch.

>This change made it difficult to receive the necessary support from the hardware maker, which has led us to drop the Wii U development and shift the development to Nintendo Switch.

Hmm.

Game looks like shit and we were all going to play it on PC anyway.

>playing it on a console anyway

>A new Castlevania looks like shit
WHAT?

So now we pretend Castlevania is bad too? Fuck, I cant keep up with this anymore, I must be getting old.

>A new Castlevania
How much did you donate to the Mighty No. 9 kickstarter?
Because when you're that naive it can't be a small amount.

>the Wii U was at the height of its popularity

That wasn't sarcasm, I'm legitimately shocked that someone thinks Bloodstained looks bad when it's literally a new Castlevania game.

>yfw when people give money to this so it can be in wii u

I'm getting the Vita version anyway. The teasers in the vids looked fantastic.

I pirated Mighty No. 9. It wasn't even a bad game, people were just really mad about the delays and the shitty woman controlling the forums with an iron fist.

Game was pretty garbage and you have developed an equally garbage taste from the entirety of your video gaming hobby.

It's not even bad bro. It's just mediocre

>You don't agree with me so I'm going to call your taste shit without explaining why!
Typical Sup Forums.

inti creates strikes again

Can't say I didn't see that coming. Wish they would RELEASE THE FUCKING GAME THOUGH.

Vita version is next up on the chopping block.

It was in early 2015, right after Smash 4 came out.

Oh nice, glad I can get this on my switch when it finishes then, my wii u is fucking dead

When does it release?

The Vita still gets support though user, remain positive

>i only donated $1 for the Wii U release
Meh, good thing my PC build is almost done. Tell me Sup Forums, should I get a 750ti in June or wait until September to get the 1060 6GB?

Is this supposed to be a bad thing? I don't see the problem here.

Nah. They actually showed progress on it unlike the wii u version.
Not to mention it's well-known how established the Vita community is.

The Wii U is discontinued.

Why would anyone complain about this?

In other news, sky is blue and water is wet.

Btw I can probably just run bloodstained on integrated i5 4460 graphics

keep checking /r/buildapcsales and get a rx480 on sale

The Switch is involved, which bothers several sensitive butts.

>Not to mention it's well-known how established the Vita community is

>He hasn't seen the thousands of articles about the Vita community
>nor the interviews with Sony about how the community kept surprising them with the support
>nor the statements from various well-known devs / writers detailing their love of the Vita

Yoko Taro was only the latest one user and we love him even more for it.
And there is a growing trend of Vita sequels being PS4 exclusives flopping for a reason

Speaking as someone who just came out of mainly playing on 2004- 2006 PC hardware and played mostly on Nintendo consoles, this is pretty bad news. Post SNES era, Nintendo only gets a few weeb games worth mentioning on each console.

>kikestarted inticreates game is castlevania

so this is cognitive dissonance...........not bad.......

No, this is cognitive dissonance.

>They wanted to put Nier on Vita but squeenix wouldnt let them

Do you need 6GB for what you're gonna use this machine for or will 2GB be sufficient?

It probably doesn't matter. I'll be using it with a i5 4460 and g skill 8gb ddr3ram

>This change made it difficult to receive the necessary support from the hardware maker
>Nintendo not only killed the Wii U early but also actively refuses to let anyone else support it

This is honestly disgusting. Like, imagine someone pledged the Kickstarter and only had a Wii U. Surely there must be at least one person like that. They just got fucked over simply because Nintendo wants to bury the console as fast as they can.

It's pretty dumb on Nintendo's part, but the backers don't exactly get "screwed" since they're allowed to grab refunds if they really want.

And let's be fair here, Sony is doing the exact same thing. A number of PS4 games have been receiving PS3 ports but SCEA refuses to let them be localized because they want to kill the PS3 and sell more PS4s.

>the Wii U was at the height of its popularity

mmmhm

Are you too incompetent to understand the phrase "height of it's popularity" or are you just being retarded on purpose?

Just in case, let me spell it out. The Wii U was at the height of it's popularity because it was more popular than it was before or after that point, even though it was still less popular than the ps4 or pc at the time.

It's not really surprising considering they purposely removed features from Zelda to make sure the Switch version wasn't worse.

I'm just being retarded on purpose. Don't take it too personally.

That sounds reasonable at this point considering the development timing of the project, and the fact that the market-share for the WiiU probably is going to be eclipsed by the Switch very soon. I'm actually surprised they are still committed to the Vita port at this point. I'm replaying OoE right now and am having fun rubber-banding around as Miriam's mature Onee-san.

>that's what toddlers want to believe

You know you can still type even with a giant dick in your mouth, right?

>butthurt toddler still believe the wiiu was popular

mmh? mmmm

He seems to be really enjoying that dick.
