born 94, grew up playing captain claw, future cop lapd, old nfs games, old fifa games, c&c generals and lotr bfme, battlefield games, quake and unreal games those are the most notable..
those are probably the most notable

>tfw too old to be part of that list

Nickelodeon's glory days, playing outside, some ps1 (spyro, street fighter, etc.) and eventually ps2, playing rated m games we weren't supposed to.

Console FPS?

Early 2000s are the best of them all obviously

Earliest
Gameboy Advanced: Battlebots, Yoshi, others I can't remember.

Later
PS2: Star Wars BF2, Shadow of the Colossus, SOCOM, DDR, others I can't remember.

Later
Xbox 360: Halo 3, GoW, all the other generic annual releases.

98fag, mostly PS2 platformers like Ratchet and Clank and hand-me-down GameBoy and N64 games from older siblings.

>people born in 2003 are 14 this year
This disturbs me more than it should do

RuneScape and Pokémon is what I remember the most from my childhood. (I'm a 98fag)

>its another age circlejerk by people old not old enough to be here

Why else would you care, faggot?

Early childhood: big brother's SNES and my own GBA
Late childhood: 3D Worms and Budokai with friends

t. regards 1996

>was born in september so arbitrarily couldn't go to school until I was 6
>was a year older than all the kids

i was born in 1999 and i'm allowed to post on Sup Forums. hows that make you feel?

also, i grew up on n64/windows 98 era games; first game was Toy Story 2 for PC
when i was around 8 i got a Wii and fell in love with nintendo franchises (mario, zelda, pokemon)
i still like nintendo but i'm more into strategy games now

>people think you're smart
>actually just more developed
>get good grades
>get into good school

Honestly it's life on easy mode.

No matter what age you become you will always be a fag.

I turned 18 two months ago. The first game I ever played was Star Wars: Battlefront in 2005.

Don't feel too bad. Odds are that you experienced multiple golden ages, that were actually golden ages.

99fag, and i unironically find that all post-millennial are all babies and fags with shit taste

it sounds retarded but the difference in what they find entertaining is fucking astounding compared to what most 99 kids grew up with

1999 here
Mostly superstar saga, pokemon firered/emerald, pokemon blue, chrono trigger, doom, golden sun, super mario galaxy, super smash bros melee/brawl, final fantasy VI and super mario RPG
>tfw wii was my first console because my mom was a cunt who hated videogames

Born in 97. The average 'casual gamer' my age enjoyed 3rd gen pokemon and melee as a kid, got into CoD in its late 00's popularity, and moved to League/DOTA/CS:GO during high school. Mostly League honestly, I knew waaaaay too many people who played that game in high school.

It really isn't you literal babby.

>babyfag thinks he's any better than the other children

soon Sup Forums will be as old as moot was when he founded it. many underage b& are younger than the actual site.

>tfw graduating and everybody still plays league or CSGO
why does everybody have such shit taste

NO I WAS BORN IN 92.

I'M STILL YOUNG AND HIP DAMMIT DON'T YOU DO THIS TO ME TIME.

I was only born in 96 myself, but it still scares me how quickly times passes by. I remember first browsing Sup Forums back in 2009 when I was just 13, and now here I am 8 years later, and it feels like even though so much has changed within that time, my life hasn't really progressed since then.

I'm just wasting my youth playing video games and shitposting on the internet waiting for something to happen.

'96 babby here, had a genesis and N64 as first consoles, played Sonic 2,3, some f22 fighter game, Race Drivin(which was fucking shit), and ecco the dolphin.

N64, i pretty much played mario 64, tony hawk proskater 2(level editor kicked ass), pokemon stadium, and various mario party games.

I managed to find an old gaming shop few months back and picked up Banjo kazooie, blast crop, jet force gemini, and battletanx + some working controllers.

25 means we can't pretend to still be in our early twenties.

Evil twin
Beyond Good and Evil
Prince of Persia
NFS
WoW
Nintendo licenses

>born in MID-late 80s
POST YFW YOU GREW UP IN THE GREATEST ERA OF HUMAN HISTORY

That's funny because I'm 95 and I myself notice a shift with 1998+ babies.

Like, me and my immediate age group grew up with Yu Gi Oh, PS2, pre-movie Spongebob, and Megas XLR. But then I get to people more than a few younger than me and they grew up on Hannah Montana and the Wii, not to mention they shout memes in real life which I don't remember my age group ever doing.

NES Genesis, and Sierra games.

>tfw will soon turn 24
It's all slipping away lads

>wanting to be alive to experience the full decline of everything

>born in '93
>born just a tad bit too late to fully experience most 90's stuff
>however since I'm from a shithole irrelevant country and relatively poor I always got my shit a couple years late so I still managed to enjoy stuff that I would've missed otherwise

Fuck i'm too old for this thread.

'91, playing Super Mario World, MK II, and Donkey Kong Country until 1998 when my shithead neighbor/friend got an N64 and Ocarina of Time.

>96er
>Grew up with N64, PS1, Sega Saturn, and first new console was OG Xbox
>First game ever was Heretic on PC
>I remember first browsing Sup Forums back in 2009 when I was just 13
I kinda know that feel, except I started browsing when I was 11.
Man, kinda sad, but this place has been a part of my life longer than a lot of the friends I still have.

...

>tfw started browsing at 10 in early 2009

Hey there fellow 93bro

I was born in '97 and the earliest game I remember playing was Banjo Kazooie. I have most of my fond memories from PS2 games though.

Lmao my girlfriend is literally a year younger than you and I bet she has better taste go to bed underage b&

Am 99 fag, that's the soon to be 2kfags that spout memes irl, the only people my age that do that shit are literally trash that can't have friends their own age
They're the people that sicken me the most, at least the sjws care about their grades and getting a good job after college, these fucks just complain about working at McDonald's while doing nothing to better themselves

thats exactly what i'm talking about. 99+ where i grew up were about all those things you mentioned plus a couple older consoles, older animes, and pokemon

but 2000s onwards are all about adventure time, 8th generation consoles, minecraft, and the really new sitcoms disney puts out. its nuts to me how they're all into entirely different things despite the small difference

96. so im 21

pokemon RS, LG FR
CS source

most notable for me

Everyone who was born after me should be euthanized

>born in 1989
>barely remember the early 90's at all
I hesitate to call myself a 90's kid. First console was a Super Nintendo when it was actually the best thing out there unlike these fags who started with old consoles.

I was never underage b& though, found Sup Forums like a week after I turned 18.

94 playing Crash, Spyro, Dune 2000, Socom 1-3, Everquest Online Adventures on the Ps2, Brute Force, Halo 1, Diablo 1, Vanilla WoW on a shitty computer

What did people born in 2000 ever do to you?

Older than dates mentioned. By quite a few years. Damn.....

I'm with you bro

Made me feel old

Been browsing since I was 15, though I actually followed the rules and lurked for years without posting

Born 93, had a 92 brother.

Grew up on n64. Remember countless hours on paper mario, megaman legends, banjo, and Oracle of ages/seasons
never was able to link up and get that final boss

>found Sup Forums like a week after I turned 18.
I could understand like 16 or 17, but 18?
Jesus christ dude, I found out about Sup Forums from my older sister when I was in middle school and even SHE was only 16 at the time.

I really need to block this website on all my devices. I'd be a better person without it. It's ruined me.

Not knowing Bill Nye is their first offense

>calling me too young to use Sup Forums but in a relationship with someone younger than me

I only know about Bill because of science classes.

I knew about it in 2006 but stayed away because people on my favorite forums talked trash about it. It wasn't nearly as popular as it is today then. I came here in early 2007 and never looked back.

I know that feeling

whoops

I have a pimple on the base of my dick. It's gotten a lot bigger over the last few days and I'm starting to worry if it's a cyst or something. There's no whitehead so I can't pop it.

>Not going anyways BECAUSE people said it was shit

sonic 3 and spyro 2

96 here. Grew up on Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance mostly.

Get that shit checked out now

I distinctly remember when I first started browsing this site, a friend told me about it and I ended up on Sup Forums during when Tumblr tried to raid it during 'Operation Overlord'. Ended up spending a lot of middle school there, all of high school, and now I'm here in college, still browsing away.
I wouldn't say Sup Forums has made my life worse like some anons do, I love you guys.

As for games, mostly Pokemon and Sonic. They were pretty replayable games and they were all I really had back in the day. Adventure 2's Chao and Pokemon Emerald were a large portion of my childhood.

...

mechassault and a modded xbox with tons of snes games.

>Get older
>Well-adjusted people who are better and more mature than you are starting to be younger than you

HELP

ITT: We love our fellow Sup Forumsirgins

you should probably stay on /r9k/ more

I don't have a primary care physician. Haven't been to a regular doctor in eight years since the pediatrician stopped seeing me at 18.

My parents never bought me games until I got to be about 5, but they let me play flash games before that. played all kinds of cool shit.
first real game I played was Call Of Duty 1, my dad had gotten the GOTY edition. After that I tracked down a couple games built in the Quake 3 engine, quake 3 arena and wolfenstein: enemy territory. Best times of my life. I used to LAN with my dad and his buddies in CoD1 and Wolf:ET, we'd go into servers and I'd sit in corners as medic in Wolf:ET, throwin health packs where no enemies could see me, no one on our team would really die, I would revive everyone. I basically would cuddle everybody on my team so effectively that they'd only die once or twice a match. In CoD1 we'd play FFA with just bolt action rifles and I won every single time. So fun dude. I need to go back to when I was 8 years old pubstompin with my dad. Now he has arthritis and can't play FPS games anymore. Oh yeah, we also used to play a ton of StarCraft:Brood War when I was like 5/6. I'd sit on his knee and hit different keys to build units for him and he'd go attack with huge armies. We used to play on this map, Big Game Hunters, all the fucking time. It was a custom map, and we would set up like 4 bots and just me and him would own em all.
Man, I wish I could still go back to comfy vidya with my dad. He's such a bro but he just cant play anything anymore without being in pain.

95fag here, I started with the NES, SNES, and Genesis at age 3. I bought an N64 when I was 4 by saving up coins and spare change from family for a year. Later I got a Gamecube and PS1 when I was 8, and finally a PS2 when I was 10.

I played a ton of games when I was younger and it made me love games from all eras. My family wasn't wealthy either so I played what I had to death

80's nostalgiafags' games without any series for themselves

>not reading that shit

This game is the fucking tits. I literally cannot calculate the hours I invested on the original local servers, private clan servers, x-fire servers, and eventually the steam transition. Custom singleplayer mods, animations, models, weapons, stances and so much more. The second game expanded the modding scene even further and remains a game I play to this muther fucking day.

Right now I'mplaying Bespin Undercity right when you face your first Reborn enemy and I just keep replaying that fight over and over cause it was the fucking tits. Then afterward I turn on realistic saber combat and enjoy the best Jedi simulator of all fucking time. ALso in the sequel Jedi Academy I can level up force lighting to such I point that I can literally fire jawas up a mountain (achievable in one of the tattonine missions). Also in Jedi Academy you get to recreate the most intense scenes from tremors and use thermal detonators to blow those things to kingdom come. Shit was cash.

Even my 12 year old sister knows Bill Nye

I was born 98 and grew up playing sonic and outrun 2019 on my genesis

Okay, I was born in '99 so I think I qualify

Growing up I played MGS, wind waker, metroid, halos 2-reach, kingdom hearts, battlefront, and resident evil games

I know people are going to inevitably scream at my post for my age, but that's what I grew up on

maybe 'stockholm syndrome' would be more appropriate

Anyone else here whose first exposure to Sonic was this masterpiece? I used to spend hours browsing the comic covers wishing I could read them.

youtube.com/watch?v=t_c2RLiCHSk

Hello my white friend
Still trying to get my life on track before I turn 25 and am considered an old man AND poorfag

My first exposure may have been the first game on Genesis but my nigga that is a good collection

I wouldn't really say its made my life worse either. If anything I'm responsible for becoming a clingy NEET that suffers from crippling anxiety, although in some ways I feel like Sup Forums helps me cope with those issues whenever I feel like they're at their worst, despite how fucking depraved and miserable this site can be at times.

I guess I just appreciate the company, and not feeling like I'm alone in my misery.

I was born in 1996. My first games were on the Game Boy and PS1 ( I absolutely LOVED Tekken 3, Crash 3, and Super Puzzle Fighter)

I was born in 97, here's my blogpost.
>Earliest
I played a bit on my dad's ps2. early on I played GTA vice city and just screwed around in the open world. I won a GameCube in a school competition, which is what ended up getting me into video games. I played Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, and a few of the Splinter Cell games on it. I was pretty shit at Splinter Cell. My parents ended up buying resident evil 4 on the GameCube and I played that too. Also liked playing Mortal Kombat Deception when it released on ps2.

When I was about 9 I got an Xbox. I played KOTOR, Star Wars republic commando, both battlefront games, the first Forza, and Midnight Club 3 on it a lot. I might've played more games, but I don't remember them. The original Xbox was shit.

>Teenage years
I got an Xbox 360 and played a lot of pleb tier AAA games. GTA IV, Mass Effect trilogy, Oblivion/Skyrim, Fallout 3/New Vegas, Assassin's Creed series when it was actually decent, Splinter Cell conviction, and probably other stuff I'm not remembering. Never got into the fps craze until I got the ps4.

This is fucking stupid.

So according to this because I was born in 91 I'm a 90's kid yet I was too young to remember half the shit that fucking buzzfeed makes articles about to pander to 90's kids.

Hurry up and fucking die already you disguising, good for nothing soggy old fart.

>Born 96
Tony Hawk, SSX, ATV offroad fury, Jak and Daxter, Jak 2

'94

Halo 2
Worms 4: Mayhem
TimeSplitters Future Perfect
THUG
A bunch of older Genesis/Mega Drive games (Sonic 1+2, Streets of Rage 1+2, Comix Zone)

Born 97, fist console I played was either the SNES or N64

Played MK, PunchOut!!, Super Mario Party 64, Super Mario 2.

Then got the GameBoy Color from my older sister, and went on from there.

Most of the games from the PS1 I didn't really play, moreso watched my older cousin play.
Metal Gear Solid was pretty cool wish that Microsoft would backcompat more titles so I can play them all.

>97
Played NES and Genesis games like SMB and Aladdin until I got an N64 on my 4th birthday, then I grew up playing F-Zero X (only game i had because N64 cartridges were expensive as fuck) and renting games like pic related..

I was born in 98 and only had a nes until I was 7 or so and got a Ps2.

I got that for Christmas whatever year it came. It's why I'm excited we're getting localized puyo puyo again.

94 here, that haunted mansion in Timesplitters gave me some of my first video game spooks.

You can go straight to an urologist.
