Persona 3 fes vs persona 4 golden

Which is better?

Golden just because you don't have to spend 100 hours just to make a persona have the skills you want, and the ability to control party members.

Persona 5

This

Persona 4 is unplayable due to the crying factor. Haven't tried 3

Id say P4 , although I find the original SMT series (eg SMT IV) better than Persona.

P3 story > P4 story
P4 gameplay > P3 gameplay

I played 4 first, and I loved it. I'd rate it a nearly perfect game.

I played 3 right after, and I thought it was even better. Darker, more stylized, and had a sense of realism to it. You can't go wrong with either game, but I'd play 3 first.

Persona 3

Definitely Golden over FES. Golden's additions are actually fun, rather than new dungeon that is all about grind.

How are people not tired of ''Highschool Kids with Ghost Friends" yet?

Already done a poll

fes is better best ost better story etc

golden verison is inferior nerfed bosses/dungeons and they made the game too easy with added so many casual mechanics to get more op skills etc

poll doesn't matter more people played p4, if p3 came out after p4 p3 would be top

i played both, p3p first and prefer p4 they fixed up some stuff.

P3 was better

The final fight felt like it had meaning, everything you had been working for was for this moment

P4's final fight just felt slapped on in comparison

But it adds Marie. Which is quite a draw back.

3 has the better story but thats it

4 has better everything else. Setting, music, gameplay, dungeons, social links

Both are about equal in casts. Yeah you have akihiko, junpei, and aigis, but you also have the dog, ken, and fuuka. Just like you have kanji, rise, naoto, and yosuke, but have chie and larry. Adachi though mang

Agree heavily with this, though I like neither's dungeon design

I think P3 was trying to take steps to fuse the new style of persona game with a narrative fitting the previous entries and while I can appreciate that I think it failed to an extent. P4 just does so much of the accessorizes better it feels jarring. I've heard P5 is a return to form but still keeping with quality so I hope for best in 2 weeks

I'd agree with that if it weren't for the difference in pace.
Persona 4's main theme is mystery and investigation, so finding a hidden truth that was not apparent at any point should theoretically work.

If you just didn't like it, though, that perspective probably won't change your mind.

P3 deserves credit still as it brought the series back after a 6 year hiatus and blew it up into their biggest franchise and two of the best jrpgs ever made with 3 and 4 and probably 5. But it just feels blander and duller because of the dungeons, menus, and locations. The story and cast still holds up and makes it worth playing though but p3p is the way to play it now

P4 did everything better than P3, except for the story which was equally shit.

Persona 5 shits on these 2 games it's actually sad

P3 senpai
best girls
best boys
best story

P3's soundtrack kicks P4's ass, I'm pretty sure that's something everyone can agree on

p3. The gameplay "improvements" everyone talks about in p4 only served to make the game less challenging yet at the same time more annoying.

>P3FES: no Teddie
>P4G: Teddie
P3FES.

>P3: Yukari, Ken, Strega
>P4: no Yukari, Ken, Strega

>Implying absorbing grenades from Strega wasn't one of the highlights of the game

Yup.

>less challenging yet at the same time more annoying.

>Social Links actually matter in combat, fighting with people you're close to has a purpose and payoff.
>You can actually fucking control your teammates
>No fucking tartarus

The dungeons in 4 are Tartarus just with a different coat of paint, the dungeon crawling in both 3 and 4 is awful.
