Did this game really deserve 8 points less than Andromeda? Wildlands is 70 on Metacritic while Andromeda has a very generous 78 (PC)
I haven't played either game, I've just seen videos, streams and read a few reviews. Wildlands looked pretty generic but not horrible, whereas Andromeda suffers from some inexcusable problems.
Ubisoft's reputation has been shit for longer now. Bioware still has the SJW audience.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is really good game. It has many flaws and all but even just the landscape itself is much better than whole Andromeda... Looks like Wildlands is profiling to be more of a niche game for operators.
Im hesitant on grabbing WIldlands after plying the Division. I'll wait until it hits 30$
Andromeda is undoubtedly better, wild lands is dog shit. Wildlands is honestly a 40, and Andromeda might be a 50-55

wildlands is way worse than division. division is actually fun for a while.

the game has plenty of bugs but nothing gamebreaking. the microtransactions are retarded but the stuff they offer hardly fit with the theme of the game at all, so you can ignore those.
other than that there's really nothing wrong with the game. buy it when it's on sale with a couple of friends and have fun operating.

it has the worst locomotion of any game in the history of open world games. when the game is 80% locomotion thats pretty shit.
It's not that its awful, its just very stale and doesn't exactly grab your attention with anything when you realize all there is to do is the cookie cutter open world busywork

i agree that not being able to yaw in air vehicles is not accetable. but with a keyboard it's literally just as bad as gta5. driving and flying was clearly meant to be done with a gamepad and the game allows for switching between keyboard and gamepad on the fly.
Wildlands is a lot of fun with friends but will ultimately be pretty forgettable. Mass Effect Andromeda will go down in history as a piece of shit and will be laughed at for years to come. But yeah, Wildlands is the better game.

Wildlands is what the phantom pain should have been, coop stealth in a living open world.
Solo play is fine and actual coop is a mess with randoms, still need to find yuropoor anons to operate with.
Its dogshit with a gamepad. Its definitely worse than gtaV which is saying something. plus its just the same open world crap every ubi game does.
Ghost Recon is fucking awful. It may be functional but the core mechanics, mission design, and world design are just totally boring and bland.

Wildlands is buttfuck retarded and the only difficulty comes from playing on Extreme difficulty with aimbot AIs. But the AI is actually just very dumb and simplistic.

I got a bug where I cannot level up anywhere pass level 9 and I'm near the end of the game. Sure it's still playable but I can't unlock the later game skills. There's people who are stuck on level 2.
The problem with wildlands is it panders to a very niche audience but they had to make AAA sales so they misrepresented it. The game is pure time sink designed for people who like stealth operative gameplay. I play 1 hour a day and im satisfied. Anymore than that and I get sick of it.
