I took those loops real slow (putting the game down for weeks at a time when it was starting to get on my nerves) so it didn't bug me as much. The story threads were enough to pull me through. I can imagine trying to burn through the loops being a rather horrifying experience. Even so I feel BD gets a whole lot more right than wrong.

Theres the new rpg for the switch, Octopath Traveler supposedly by the bravely team. Seems to be implying that its a rpg whose main feature is branching story paths. Hope its good but Im not that confident in it.
