YES. I fucking hate how 9S plays so much. Hacking is tedious and easy, but it's his best way to kill everything. His movesets for all the weapons suck too. I'm on route C at the moment. I always blast through the A2 parts and have a great time. Every time I get forced onto 9S, it takes me a few days to complete, 'cos he's so awkward and boring to play as. I haven't played the game since Monday, cos I just cba playing as him.

You CAN'T replay any sidequests you already finished.
It's not possible at all, even with chapter select.
So if you have to do a sidequest with 9S you already did with 2B you must have left it unfinished.

The side quests only will reset if you haven't finish it yet when controlling 2B

Port is far from stellar, Works for some anons, many complain though about glitches and how the game is resource intensive while looking dated.

Apart from the resolution bug, I played 50 hours with no issues on an i5 4690 and GTX 970. Some cutscenes are a bit choppy for some reason, but the actual game ran absolutely fine at 60 FPS. There are plenty of people with performance issues though, both with better and worse hardware.

He can switch between two different weapons, each weapon has light/strong strings, charged attacks, launchers, aerial combos. The only thing he lacks is light/heavy transition move. And his charged spear and combat bracer attacks are the single most damaging attacks in the game.

People crying about 9S never took their time to study him. He breaks the combat far more than A2.

He's actually better than 2B because you can alternate light/heavy with good timing and taunt with the flashlight.

They are the same age if you remove blindfolds, and also the same height if it wasn't for 2B's enormous heels.

how do you do strong attacks as him?

A few tips:
>his heavy combo string can be activated after performing a dodge
>majority of his moves (especially heavy) have massive multihit property which makes cypress stick crit builds with him absolutely devastating
>if you dislike the fact his moveset doesn't move him forward as much as 2B's, use wire pod program, though it's unnecessary because he's at his best at mid-range
>javelin throw move can hit enemies far past lock-on distance, it also tracks the aerial enemies which makes it absolutely crushing against any flying enemy
>his spear dodge counter is possibly the best anti-group move in the game, and if you have Overclock you usually have enough time to charge the javelin and hit the launched foe for a very stylish finisher
>his large swords are actually usable
>his fist charge move provides the single highest DPS in the game outside of maybe rage mode A2 despite being absolutely safe and spammable, and combined with Demon's Cry's level 4 ability he can clear entire encounter with one charge
>his unarmed charged attack shoots some kind of EMP projectile that disables foes for a time
I hated playing as him initially but after time he grew on me so much i had a hard time adapting to weaker, more spammable, short-range movesets of 2B again.
