This was the last game I played. Does anyone have any suggestions for my next game? Does not have to be anywhere close to the same type of game

Literally any AC game if you're looking for similar style.

It's pretty hard to recommend games when you ask such a broad question without listing what genres you like

Is this any good? I don't really care for Lord of the rings but someone recommend I play this.

It can be fun for a few hours but the combat is easy as fuck (think arkham city games where you can just counter absolutely everything with a single key/button)

It was fantastic, a little repetitive, but it was actually "fun" so it didn't seem so
You could completely take the lotr aspect out of the game and it wouldn't change a thing, it's still a great action/stealth/adventure/open world game

Think Assassin's Creed meets Arkham City meets LotR

Easy, simple, short and small. That said, it's also satisfying as fuck (the animations, I mean) and has some pretty neat gimmicks in it. The plot is dumb, the ending is fucked and the DLCs are meh.

Having said all that, I put in around 80 hours playing it 3 times since it came out and also got all the achievements too. It's definitely worth the price now though since you can get it for like 5 bucks.

Can't wait for the sequel.

Arkham series
Mad Max
Tomb Raider
Thief
Hitman Absolution
Assassins Creed

It's casual and easy, but I did enjoy it and it really is some good fun. It actually got me into LotR

...

Thanks

It's one of the best licensed games in recent memory, which isn't saying much, but this game is at least good.

Played Arkham
Played Tomb Raider
Played Thief
Played Hitman
Played Assassin's Creed

I'll check out Mad Max though

Here man, a list of games I enjoyed in recent years:

Wolfenstein: New Order
Doom
Mad Max
Witcher 3
Inside

>Wolfenstein
Mah nigga

If you're a hard-core LOTR fan the game is a nonsensical abortion.

If you don't care about that stuff, its a great decapitation game.

Too bad the follow-up (Old Blood) sucked though.

But New Order is fucking A+ in every department except those stealthy bits, I fucking hate stealth in games.

...

I have been downloading free games on the xbox one store, just to see what to get lost into next. Nothing is really standing out, though that may be due to xbox having shit for games these days. I'm seriously considering getting a Switch only for zelda. 2 billion nips can't be wrong.

>Does not have to be anywhere close to the same type of game

then why did you post it?
you didn't even mention whether you liked it or not.
shit thread, kys.

>2 billion nips can't be wrong.
They're eating fucking tofu, man. I'm a vegetarian and even for me tofu is basically tasteless shit.

>Does not have to be anywhere close to the same type of game

Are you allergic to JRPGs? If not, want to experience some of the best the genre has to offer? You should check out The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (FC and SC as they constitute to a whole) in warm up for the third chapter, set to be released this spring/summer.
It's something to ease into, mind. A lot of reading, a little grinding, but overall one of the best "virtual vacation" you can have, and to emphasize that, here's its battle theme:

That depends

do you love it when you press a button and something awful happens?

Just play Middle Earth: Shadows of War
The sequel

>Too bad the follow-up (Old Blood) sucked though.

I missed the threads that popped up occasionally when it released so I don't know what the consensus is, but I'm glad to know someone else in this shithole agrees with me. I couldn't even play Old Blood that much due to shittier performance and just boring as fuck everything. I don't know if it got better later on, but after I got out of the prison and got on that boat to progress, I just dropped it. I much prefer TNO.

Fuck I hope Machine Games gets to break off from Zenimax and make something with a proper engine instead of the trainwreck that is idtech. I've played and loved every single one of their games from the first Riddick to TNO.

yAKUZA

For $20 I didn't think TOB was shit, but the lore wasn't that great overall, especially compared to TNO, and you're right compared to TNO, it felt pretty boring on the whole.

Play Watch Dogs 2. You'll be a cool hip hacker and there's a strong positive social message in the game.

>Fuck I hope Machine Games gets to break off from Zenimax

Nobody breaks from Zenimax. They crush businesses left and right for their own fucking amusement. We'll probably never see more original work from the Starbreeze's core team. They'll be "Machinegames", working on whatever IP Zenimax toss them. Their next project is another fucking Wolfenstein.
