You make one misplay and you literally can't win from there on, and a misplay can be something as simple as moving a pawn.

Computers can calculate 30 moves ahead in seconds. Just play with cheats enabled and you will draw every game at worst.

Compare it to a fighting game. If you make a mistake, you lose some health but you can still come back and win by playing well.
In chess, if you make a mistake, you've already lost or can draw at best.

there are no 50/50 in chess. Fighting games are about reading your opponents and making educated guesses. You have to guess. And if you guess wrong you lose. Chess is pure skill.
