Pros:
It's a fucking video game
Cons:
You have to pay for it

If you have no intention of getting a Pro, what the fuck does it matter how it runs on Pro?

it gets old fast. difficulty changes will only frustrate you instead of challenge you. The developers were absolutely incompetent when it comes to rewarding the player (which is the worst sin in my opinion)
>go out of your way to find all collectibles
>get rewarded with some money and mods that you haven't needed since the beginning hour of the game
I don't want to be one of those people, but just play monster hunter instead

its more about if it runs still ok on the old ps4.

and yes i know its a video game whats wrong with you? Too much autism?

ok thanks, kinda thought it will be like this

I've been told it looks much better on Pro.

However, no amount of enhancement on the Pro changes things like this:

and because of that I say that the game should be avoided at all costs.

Mostly just resolution and a few small effects you won't notice unless you look for them.
Both vanilla and Pro run it at completely locked 30.

What about play the game first before you spew this bullshit.

I've beaten it, but alright. did you actually get the boxes after getting all the collectibles? there's no way you can defend that at the very least

>but just play monster hunter instead
This is a full on moronic suggestion.

Pros:
Fucking fantastic gameplay
The story itself is really cool.
Cons:
It isn't 100% perfect when it comes to dialogue and narrative.

I plat'd it last week. Fun game. Looks great on launch PS4 only only loses frames if you drag a whole bunch of giant dinos together and start blowing things up. Combat is based on elemental weaknesses and module destruction to shorten enemy movelists. It's not super deep but it's way better than the bam ham I was expecting. Story is well written (though a few side characters really aren't up to standard) and the world is really large and diverse (tundra, forest, jungle, desert, giant machine dungeons) with something like 20 machine beast variants and a bunch of human factions. It's got all the typical ubibox things to do. Essentially it's like an actually good ass creed game. I spent 45 hours total with it and I'd rate IR well above average but certainly not a system-seller.

If you do get it do yourself a favour and play on the hardest difficulty. If you play on an easier setting you can get away without using all the tools at your disposal and the gameplay falls apart.

Dialogue is, weird and facial expressions and body language aren't very expressive, at least not to a degree you'd expect.

In the side missions sure. The main story missions seem better.

The main storyline took me at least 30 hours to compelete.

This game has "Dragon's Dogma" Syndrome.

It would be the best fucking game ever if not small things.

The moment you leave the east part of the map the game loses its momentum and becomes super monotone.
You get all the good weapons too quick and some of them are fucking atrocious or insanely good which makes the game a cakewalk.
I finished the game on Very Hard, and it was still super easy.
You also get rained with stuff; mostly useless stuff. The monster battles become boresome after you kill each enemytime few times; then its just going through the motions. No fun ways to kill the stuff. It becomes a chore.
GLINTHAWKS ARE ATTACKING
Also the human combat is fucking joke. They are so fucking stupid and all fire effects and stealth break their ass off.
Its so weird how at the later part of the game i got tense for hunting for fucking Raccoons and Boars because they actually gave me something useful. The game doesnt really reward you from exploration at all either.
7/10

Attacking any of the big robots on Very hard is not easy. Stop lying.

What do you categorize as big?
All the Thunderjaws and Stormbirds are a joke. Rockbreakers give some trouble if they come in twos, but you really dont need to even kill them outside of some missions.
Most issues in all of these fights are not the monsters themselfs; but the shallow and clunky combat system where camera is a piece of shit.

>t. didn't playrd the game
The prodresion is pretty good.
At first you need to run from groups of bots ans the giant ones if you don't want to get raped.
Get better armors, better weapons, upgrade them
By the end Aloy is a goddess of destruction.

thats literally one of two worst examples in the game you can cherry pick any game to death on facial animations.

its great, play it then form your own opinion, dont read other's opinions then try to play the game.

The difference with the pro is, it simply looks much better, it looks like a high-end pc.

I got about 90h from it on Very Hard.

Good game made better if you go into the western regions at low levels.

if you dislike far cry, dont get it, i've you've played too much far cry, dont get it. If none of that applies to you, get far cry 3 or this game.

>high end
>locked at 30 fps

So its a mid range pc?

talking about graphics, it really looks amazing.

>Cons:
>You have to play it

Fixed that for you
