That PCSX2 is a bad emulator, that still can't run some major titles properly. It also requires a beefy PC to even work,.

define 'beefy PC' and what exactly you mean when you say 'to even work'

It is the only and the best emulator for PS2. Played around 15-20 games on it without any problems. You only need to tinker around with a few settings and it works.

Enthusia if you want some racean. It has a neat gimmick of giving you cars randomly rather than having you grind to buy them. You can end up with some great shit you've never heard of.

Works perfectly fine, you just have to tweak settings for different games.

I second Xenosaga, I find the first one the most fun, but third is good as well. The second was sort of a dumpster fire.

Front Mission 5 is very good, there's a fan translation available since they never did do an official english release.

That's false too. I beat Jak 1 2 and 3 on PCSX2. They're somewhat glitchy but not nearly unplayable

You can run PCSX2 competently on a first gen i5. That dude has no fucking clue what he is talking about.

I don't mean they literally don't work, I just mean you can't play them properly even in software mode. Unless it was fixed, doesn't seem like it was though I haven't seen any threads about it.

You could run it fine long before i5s. I played MGS3 and SOTC on an AMD quad core from 2008 or 9.

4Ghz quad-core CPU + OK amount of RAM + OK DX11 card.

dmc 1's cutscenes are messed up

I have a craving toplay american wasteland or undrground 2 but cant run them. Both really good games in my opinion.
