>2005+12
>buying games
I was going to buy it once I had completed Persona 5.
Can't see what I wouldnt enjoy about it but I try to look at games as little as possible for maximum enjoyment.
Show us the cute waifu potential.

Cute girl. What type of game is this?
I bought it last night. It's exactly what you think - Diablo but with Vikings. It's got some neat stuff.
>you can build and maintain your home village
>scavenge wood and iron to build weapons, armor, buildings, structures
>built in cold meter, something I love, which forces you to find cold weather gear or stop by any of the numerous camp fires littered across the maps
>combat is fun and easy, the first boss had some fun mechanics and it's fairly fast paced
Overall it's a solid title so far that I'm enjoying as a Diablo with Vikings type thing. The only complaint I have so far - and it's not a complaint for me but some people might dislike it - is that it's fairly clearly made with a controller in mind, from the menus to the movement and abilities. But it's really fun so far.
Does it make me a degenerate if I'd fuck this girl into oblivion and bury my face in those tits?
It has mixed reviews on Steam. Everyone says it feels like an early access game. Lots of bugs, unpolished and bad UI.
I went through those last night. Almost ALL the negative reviews have less than an hour on record, and all the positive ones are like 5+. So I bought it and ended up liking it.
Take that how you will.
>Diablo with Vikings type thing
Sounds pretty boring. Is there at least cool norse magic?
Downloading the demo.
Norse Magic isn't all that cool. It's mostly subtle charms 'n shit
does this mean it was ok being a faggot in 2004?
>He didn't get it free during Make Love Not War 3.
>boring
Boring is subjective so if that sounds boring to you I don't know what to tell you. It sounded cool to me, so I bought it and am enjoying it.
Is building the village kind of like Banished or something?
I haven't played Banished myself, but it's the only thing I can imagine would be similar other than like an RTS.

Tell me more, Sup Forums
Is this a sequel thing to that viking battle for asgard on last gen consoles?
No it's more like you build and upgrade buildings with the materials you find by interacting with npcs or structures or what have you. For instance last night I saved a longshoreman, took him back to my village, gave him the supplies and built the boathouse and my first longboat.
No. Different devs, different world.
Well, muh dick now demands that I try it just for that shield maiden.
Played it on hard up to lvl 7 or so with a 2-handed spec.
Core gameplay is clunky but works.
You have to dodge-roll attacks and kite most mobs or you will get shafted as there's very limited healing on the map. Abilities sucks because you have to be standing still for most of them ( even melee ones ).
Voice acting for the female MC sucks sicks. Story so far isn't interesting. Overall design and art pass is alright.
Worth a pirate if you really like the genre but you won't really miss anything by not playing it either.

Oh this is one of those games.
Dropped it fast. The combat feels and looks shitty. The way my character runs also looks stupid.
Speaking as the guy above who said he enjoys it, I can attest to most of this. Though I'm playing a dude, but his VA is also meh. The npcs are fine though.
I'm also playing on normal so combat is fine for me, I wade into crowds and whack until my rage activates. The limited healing is only a problem at lower levels as later on you get more powerful totems, of course.
Do the abilities not work if you're moving? I didn't notice last night and was sure I was moving almost the entire time.
Smaller, "AA" company. Almost indie. It's not an excuse, but that's why it isn't perfectly optimized.
>female """""""""""""""""""""""warriors""""""""""""""""""""""
yes but who cares?
It's fun to meme but viking shieldmaidens exist and the game made sure not to call them warriors as warriors were men, shieldmaidens were women.
But you know, it's fun to imagine women are a weak and fragile sex that are only capable of handjobs and sandwiches. Speaking of how many of either of those do you average a week from women?

>it's fun to imagine women are a weak and fragile sex
I don't need to imagine anything, roastie. One look at olympic records is enough to prove that women are a joke when it comes to physical prowess.
>Speaking of how many of either of those do you average a week from women?
Your mother gives them out daily, so a lot.
>roastie
>your mama joke
I see I'm dealing with a man who came prepared to debate.
Shieldmaidens existed only in legends, desu. But who cares if they are in a fucking fantasy videogame.
Legends, real life, in the end it doesn't matter because this game is a fantasy world and not Earth. I mean there are frost giants, goblins, magic, demons - why would people care if there was a female option to play as? Just don't play as them.
