Literally impossible

Literally impossible.

Walk away from the bubbles until they spread out enough that you can stand in between their paths.

Just back off you shitter

Beat it third try.

Git gud

get gud.

3 tries? The fuck. It should have only been one try.

>Normal is too easy
>Hard is too hard

Hard gets broken by +Exp Chips and Blade Pod Program just the same as Normal. The hardest part is the Tutorial.

> Ève

>there is no reason at all to play on hard
why bother?

>get gud
>Using lock on

Oh my

How good is the PC port for this game, and should I bother to play through the original?

>tfw only died like 8 times in my entire playthrough
>people actually having trouble with any bosses

what disappointing bossfight

>playing on normal
>using lock on
>thinking you can tell people to git gud

>playing on hard for literally no reason
Do you have Autism? you get no bonuses, you get no rewards, you get no special unlocks.

All you are doing is making shit harder for yourself for no reason at all.

That is a form of Autism.

now get gud scrub.

>How good is the PC port for this game
average

>should I bother to play through the original?
yes

It feels like the way the game was meant to be played after the true ending. Lock on is a crutch.

How the fuck is mowing through every enemy fun? I don't get any satisfaction from no challenge like you do.

Hard is not even that bad if you get the right chips and do sidequests.

Well, shit. If this is going to involve plugging in my playstations and playing through a whole extra game I'm out. Thanks.

Honestly hard should of just been the standard difficulty outside of the prologue being ridiculously punishing of slight mistakes its really easy.

Normal is pretty much impossible to die in unless you are seriously fucking braindead and don't buy consumables or use plugin chips or well anything outside of mash attack and even that works once you have 50% life leach chips.

Why would you be out of Nier? It's great. Automata doesn't need you to play the original to understand the game but you'll be missing so many references

...

> I enjoy dying to a low mob in one hit and having to retry over and over
Do you also fap to barbed wire?

>super advanced AI
>complains that lock on is a crutch
Do you also consider touch features on your smartphone a crutch?

I want to play a JRPG. I don't want to go out and pick up a JRPG on an old system to be ready to play a JRPG on a system I never use.

well that's completely fine then, you can pick up Automata without worrying about the original NieR, trust me

You don't need to, Automata is self-contained. Really the only thing you'll be missing out on is some lore and context behind maybe 3 characters in the game.

>How the fuck is mowing through every enemy fun? I don't get any satisfaction from no challenge like you do.

But that's the exact same shit on Hard, just that enemies do more damage which doesn't make it harder since you still got inventory pause + infinite healing items, chips that regen 10% of your hp every sec and taunt chips that let you oneshot every boss in the game.

I played on normal but unmapped the lock on button.

It was still quite easy, but the levelling system discouraged me from going hard.

>Do you have Autism? you get no bonuses, you get no rewards, you get no special unlocks.
Why not just play on easy?

Why not just watch the cut scenes on youtube?

Dying in one hit doesn't change anything other than make you get annoyed.

Changing difficulty only effects your damage taken.

>playing on normal

Hard isn't too hard you just actually have to set up decent chips and use your pod programmes right rather than just having pure attack chips.

that would've been the most hilarious casual filter of all time

>you just actually have to set up decent chips
Recommendations? Also, which weapons? The crit weapons crit for a fuckton of damage

I was a enjoying hard mode then I got to a part where stuff was just one hitting me all of a sudden.

battles aren't even different, either something doesn't kill you and you just heal up, or you die in a hit and have to replay whatever you were doing. it just makes you play super cautiously for the off chance you might get hit by an enemy

I'd rather just get actually good at the game in normal, and then play very hard just for the meme factor once I'm confident I know all the enemy patterns

sucks they couldn't finesse hard difficulty to be more of a balance because normal is pretty fuckin braindead

30+% physical damage reduction would be good
some way to get your life back
maybe a chip that helps deal with bullet hells

>no boss to actually test the player for if he manages to make himself as OP as possible
>instead we just get a reskin of a boss we already fought that is only "hard" because he spams attacks from offscreen

Its a common problem with these kind of games. Dragons dogma also had this problem. Once you reach lvl 200 theres no challange anymore.

How do I get non garbage chips?

Wait till you do it with 9S and your hacking gets broken.

Farming off enemies, from quests if youre lucky and corpses.

I've already seen everything on twitch a week ago.

I intend to buy this on steam summer sale, and play with my nude mods on easy mode.

>finished 100% the game
this is it m8s

im on the final path

i'm going to beat the game on very hard, beginning to end main story only and then delete it all

wish me luck

Lock on is actually less accurate with more spread than not locking on, even if you use it on normal, you lose damage than if you were aiming yourself

Literally just use a ranged base chipset and the rocket pod.

I just realized I was never able to open the doors with the apologizing exploding robots. What's up with them?

Probably planned DLC.
