I'm at the point where I prefer player created characters to static characters, yeah there are good static characters but they're in the minority with a player created character I have much more control over them. Not always just appearance, but their stat and skill development. I'd rather play some blank, no personality player made character like the Arisen than some character with a defined personality and background like Geralt of Riva.
