Finally got that new credit card Sup Forums. What should I get? I can spend up to $1,500

thanks man

>get credit card
>max it out the very first day
Americans, everyone.
Also, buy a real doll.

Pics or it didn't happen.

Scorpio

>implying
that isn't just americans, but millennials in general
they think a card is just free money, so they end up with 400 thousand dollars in student debt

Yes goy, use the plastic jew.

>millennials are the first group of people to irresponsibly use credit cards
you are so fucking stupid, look at yourself

Use it to pay for things you usually buy already and pay it off immediately. Absolutely never let the balance carry over to the next month.

It's not fucking free money, you're going to have to pay it off later

>credit cards
>student loan debt
Gen Z, everyone.

saucy is the new anonymous

I hope that card came a 0% apr offer
>get credit card
>max it

Don't do it OP, be sensible

I'm currently in over £5k debt and it's a pretty shit feeling once the excitement wears off

Reduce your limit to $800ish, buy something nice but then cut it up and pay it off

This is what my mom does. I love my mom.

No you can't unless you have 1500 on you right now

>people actually falling for the shittiest of baits

>credit card
>ever

Credit cards are only good spending money and then paying it off immediately in order to build good credit.

t. butthurt millennials

buy the biggest dragon dildos and pumps too ^^

>not reaping in free money from credit card rewards

How do you get things which need a credit check then?

I was thinking of buying a Switch with my credit card, then pay it off for a little while. I've hardly use my credit card over the past few years minus a trip to Florida, so this isn't a horrible idea is it?

>not abusing the Jew by paying it off every month for X% back, benefits, and building your credit score

Your loss.

>Sup Forums pass
die

>this_is_how_it_begins.jpg

I have no debt. It's a pretty good feeling but you don't have $5k of stuff you didn't pay for.

>Playing the Jew game

i HOPE YOU DIE, YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT

You should just spend your entire credit limit on a new company startup.

Sell something you specialize in like Dildos.

most normies don't know that paying off statement avoids interest

That's not free money though. It's like charging you for tip with your meal, and you being glad that you don't have to tip when you pay.

me too.

cash back is nice and all but I so seldom use the card that after 3 months I got like 8 bucks.

This. Don't be retarded, OP.

Credit cards are illegal in my canton for being scams. Watch out Americans. (I live in Switzerland)

Build wall.

It is free money you retard, just pay it off in full and you get no interest

> mountain jews outlawing jew schemes
really gets the gears turning

>credit card companies have tens of billions of dollars
>scams
b-b-b-but t-r-t-rump wouldn't let this happen, right?!?!?

I'm a millennial and I have over $5,000 in the bank. You gen z kids are retarded though.

>XDDD JOOOOOZ

Assburgers and autism are the same right?

Some credit cards have 0% APR for the first 1-2 years.
If you're credit card has high interest, don't bother buying a Switch. It's just as worse as rent to own.

Usually people with credit cards pay it off full after the statement to reap cash back or other rewards.

Just save a little each month unless you absolutely need to play it now. I'm presuming you have a friend that has one which you could borrow after he's finished. The only game out is Zelda. Just wait until the holidays if you are tight on cash.

>It is free money
>just pay it off
Retarded goyim spotted

free money from the rewards the card offers idiot

>Buy thing with credit card
>Pay off before bill cycle, no interest accrewed
>Get percentage of purchase back as literal free money

>his limit is only $1,500
>laughinggirls.jpeg

Step up brother of African descent, my limit is 6k, 0% interest for three months, free phone insurance and option to increase limit after 2 years. Best part, despite using it regularly I have no purchases on it at the moment.

>have credit card
>use it to pay for everything, bills, food, video games
>pay it all off at the end of the month
>mfw free credit score
Don't spend what you don't have.

>Spending $1000 to get $2 back
You'd be better off Jewing people on the street for $2 over that bs.

basically this

>have card with cash back rewards
>use it for everything
>pay off the balance every month
>never paid a cent of interest
I don't get it, it's not that hard.

>credit cards offer .002% cash back
shutup fag

>openly admitting that you have problems with money

don't you have any shame?

>spending money
>2017

Has history taught you nothing lad?

Yeah, because you don't actually need what you spent the $1000 on, you just wanted the $2

durr hurr durr

Only retarded Americans spend on things they don't need. Also I don't get why Parents give there kids credit cards when they're in highschool.

>free credit score
You don't know much about credit score do you?

Cash back usually 1-5%.

It literally saves you a portion of sales tax.

I like to think of them as a small tax refund when it is time to redeem the cashback.

Plus you establish good credit which you could get good interest rates for a car or house.

Gotta start 'em young.

>free credit score
>Believing a FAKO score
Get a discover card to get a real credit score

He's not wrong though. Showing you can handle credit is a good thing

>Carefully budget and plan all my controllable expenses while exploiting stuff like credit card rewards where it's useful
>Manage to afford nice things like a 4kOLED tv, nice sound system etc. over time.
>People who see my house always see "Oh wow you must be loaded" and shit like that
Why are normies so bad at money?

>but millennials in general
>they think a card is just free money
(you)

>free credit score

You're gonna be in for a shock

>>people actually falling for the shittiest of baits

buy some more credit and raise that pussy af limit.

Or you know, go to the bureaus websites

Credit cards are the way to go though. Much safer to use than a debit card, and your transactions build credit unlike debit.

>get free credit score so you can use it one day to spend what you don't have

Genius

That costs money

Just how old are you, gramps

so you would get a loan how?

Sounds like a debit card.

Get one of the 1.5%/2% universal cards if you qualify.

>Credit cards are the way to go though

Uh... Has no one explained to you how building credit works?

gd luck getting a house without credit rating

You are entitled to a detailed report once a year for free from each bureau

>another CC bait thread

>Getting a loan
>Basically spending money that isn't yours
>In order to do this, avoid spending money that isn't yours
Just save up for the car or the house, easy

Because they don't want to think about it. They get anxiety. That's literally it.

Gonna make my executive job in the future really easy.

>my parents are irresponsible and told me credit cards are evil

Earning cash back is the best. Especially when you forget about it. I buy a lot of games through steam. Instead of putting money directly into the wallet, I'll buy steam gift cards off of Amazon for the same price. Except I get 5% cash back. It adds up quickly.

There is also the chance for a delivery fuck up which is a hidden blessing as Amazon will send you another card free of charge. End result is you get another free card, even if you cancel your order. Once they sent me 4 $50 cards for the price of one. They told me to keep the extras.

Let me know how shit pans out when you want to buy a house.

>400 thousand dollars in student debt
>thread about credit cards
Wow how can one be so stupid

He's Canadian, please be patient

>just save up for a 200k house silly!
yeah, and move in when I'm in my mid fourties and started saving in my twenties? Solid plan.

Am I doing something right if they keep raising my credit amount? Or is that bad?

>all these underage Sup Forumstards hating on credit cards because muh jooz
Credit cards are much safer than debit cards even when you're only spending money that you have in your account. You need to have a credit score in order to do things like rent an apartment or get a mortgage. Having good credit is a good thing.

Try saving up hundreds of thousands of dollars for a house before you're 30.

You do realize you're bashing an entire generation when you don't know if all of them do this, right?

>bait

Pass up $30 free every month, I don't care.

>tfw im going to kill myself soon so i'm just maxing out all the credit cards i can find

I broke the system.

> 30 dollars is substantial
Plebe spotted

It's good cause it cause your utilization to go down
Never hurts to ask for a higher credit limit every 6 months, most issuers have it available to do online
Just make sure it's a soft pull

It's the Canadian way

>named after my granddad
>check credit report
>tons of unpaid medical bills / other shit from 2002-2013
>score is 450
>call the son of a bitch
>he never knew about any of them
>his credit was never touched

Nice.

Yeah, you'd be surprised how many people want MUH TRAVEL POINTS and those expire (resulting in income/reduced expense for the FI), it's fucking ridiculous.

It doesn't matter if it's fucking FREE

I didn't say it was substantial, I said it was free.

And that's $360 per year.
>you can buy a console EVERY YEAR

Your family takes on any debt you accrued.

Maybe if you live in the third world

Only if they cosigned.
then again he'll be dead setup what would he care
