Played a friend's Bloodborne. Thought it was good, but not worth buying a console over, since I'm not into weeb stuff.

The remake is garbage, play the HD collection on PS3.

Even the HD collection is iffy if you have an actual PS2 lying around to play them on. If not then yeah, it's still miles better than the remake.

Pro is expensive and doesn't seem to have much support.
Regular PS4 is the silky smooth 20FPS pop in mess.

Sony can't seem to make their mind up if they have exclusives or timed exclusives which will release on PC.

Is the pro a better bloodborne/nioh/p5/yakuza machine than the regular ps4?

Pro is only good for Nioh (1080p 60fps or 4k 30fps). Yakuza is fine on the normal PS4 as it is already at 1080p and runs at 60fps with barely any drops.

the only game that has pro enhancements in nioh. p5 and bloodborne are locked at 30 while yakuza runs at 60.

Bloodborne doesn't have framerate drop issue on any console it has a framepacing issue that's a bug from the devs.

My last console was the N64. My brother had a gamecube and I used to play that. But other than that I just never saw a need for consoles anymore.

By myself I only play a couple of games, and PC is enough for that.
