Because tons of people don't really care for quality if something shitty is the only piece available for a character/series they like

They're cheap as shit and they're everywhere. Due to being easy to make, they can cover pretty much any base. Since most GOOD figures cost at least twice the amount, people who don't really know much about someone can just safely pick one up as a gift without actually spending money.

Theyre dirt cheap, sold at nearly every "nerd" venue in existence, and have variety in franchises, despite them looking all the same with those stupid beady eyes.

I have the Nintendo Club Mario characters figurine and the cool box it came in, plus three Luigi plushies.

Chrono Trigger never had any quality merch besides those Formation Arts figures. And they're too expensive online now.

So while shes milling through Walmart, she sees this figure and buys it as a gift for you since she knows you like that Morrowind thing.

I have a SOTA Vega and Sodom. I paid 60 for the first and 35 for the latter. They are really gorgeous looking figures but I feel like once you start collecting it all goes down hill as the end game will always be to have every figure you desire. Also once you have a figure the only enjoyment you get out of it is either holding it or looking at it. If you aren't into taking pics of them and whatnot, they're just gonna sit there.

I'm very picky about how Majora's Mask itself looks. None of the fan made ones ever looked quite right to me.

I would buy fan made ones for the other masks in game. Hope the eyes on the F4F one aren't as wonky as the concept shots make them look. Especially with the light up eyes.

It's pretty easy to see why they print money. It's easy merchandise to show you're a fan while being pretty mainstream. I've gotten two of them from my own family alone.

Yeah so am i. Majora's mask can look very wonky if one thing is messed up. The one i have is in my opinion the best one i've found. It's made by the same guy who did the deku mask. He's also done the goron and zora which i have on the way. He interprets them into a real world style which is awesome. 'MasenkoProps' on etsy if you want to see.
