Gran Turismo is shit. I'm old enough to remember when it was massive and that shit died on PS3. The last GT game sold horribly compared to the prior titles. Polyphony Digital used to have their ass kissed on a daily basis but nobody knows who they are anymore because they suck. They just take too much time developing their games. And even with long ass development times they cop out on things like visible damage on cars. Maybe if the lead dev spent less time touring the world at motorsport events and developing that god awful B-spec mode they could make a great game again.
Probably the Forza series. Horizon for scenic driving and Motorsports for tracks and shit. Assetto Corsa is also good I've heard. Dirt Rally if you want to do rallying.
