>found Dark souls 1 and 2 easy >died over 100 times killing the first 2 bosses >literally stuck in old yarham because I cant kill that cunt with the Gatling gun at the top of the tower >get destroyed by regular enemies like werewolves
Is something wrong with me? Why am i struggling so much with this game? Any tips?
Git gud Also, prioritize not getting hit over scoring hits. Almost every enemy in that part of the game is slow enough that you can dodge them easily if you're not too busy attacking at the wrong times. Also, you don't have to fight gatling gun dude. You can just walk on by and come back for him later
Austin Johnson
Probably because of the choppy framerate if you played Dark Souls 1 and 2 on PC
It was literally the reason I dropped the game, but hey, I guess Sony nerds will just call my post bait because they love eating shit because it's exclusive, I mean look at the Order 1886 for example, they were hyping that up to be GOTY
You mods can delete my post but you won't be able to delete the truth ;)

Bloodborne, outside of the DLC, is a joke. You must have hid behind a shield in Dark Souls if you're having trouble.
Juan Miller
try using the saw cleaver and the pistol I found the combination you're doing to be troublesome. werewolves are weak to fire the Gatling gun part is hard you just gotta be patient and learn the cover spots/ goodluck
Cooper Lee
The faggot on the tower just requires you hitting him until he gets close to the edge and he'll eventually just fall off. The first two bosses were easy. They telegraph their shit so it's not too tough. What I found that helped me was just being more aggressive than a typical souls game. Plus don't be afraid to use your gun to get out of a sticky situation
Blake Fisher
I thought you were meant to be agressive
Easton Nguyen
I used UGS and polearms
Lincoln Sullivan
I honestly don't see the appeal in this game
>choppy framerate >samey areas >mash to win boss fights >uninteresting story >awful camera >farm for health items
The only thing I like about this game is the setting, of course this game only gets praised because it's on a sub par console, shame, if this was on PC not many people would care about it
Bentley Young
proofs of Sony Ponies hyping up Order 1886
Liam Parker
Just spam R1.
Dylan Garcia
Aggressive yes, but there's a difference between being smartly aggressive and trading hits. You want to hit them either before they hit you, or in between their hits. If you trade hits you'll almost always lose (until you get overleveled)
The werewolves are a perfect example of this. They're easy if you outmaneuver them but if you're dying to them, it probably means you are standing in front of them and trading. I'd actually say the werewolves are good training for Bloodborne in general.
James Long
Literally 1/6 of those statements are correct
Thomas Edwards

Caleb Lewis
Be aggressive. Also, you can shoot gatling guy off the tower, reload your game, and loot him.
Jacob Smith
;)
Nathan Ward
You found Souls easy because they ARE easy. Slow as molasses combat, enemies telegraph their attacks from a mile away, you can circle strafe practically every enemy.
Bloodborne is an actual action game
Christian Brown
Watch the walktrough by ENB: youtube.com/watch?v=JyfeBHAfpZQ It's super useful for a beginner and gives you a layout of Central Yharnam. The first thing you need to do is a suicide run to clear the shortcuts
Aiden Phillips
Use the starting pistol. Learn to interrupt (parry) and visceral.
99% of the enemies in the game, including bosses, can be rendered impotent with interrupts once you've got the reaction timing down.
If you need to or want to play it safe, you can bait specific attacks. The werewolve's grab/lunge I recall being very easy to interrupt.
Angel Wilson
My favorite thing about this is that if you went in without a shield and had to dodge everything then you're perfectly suited for Bloodborne.
Alexander Adams
Stop.
Landon Ross
Hunter Axe is probably the easiest weapon to use so I don't know why you're struggling. Learn how to use your weapon probably. Use charge attacks when possible. The axe spin attack is very powerful. learn to dash/dodge properly.
>literally stuck in old yarham because I cant kill that cunt with the Gatling gun at the top of the tower You don't need to kill him, you can just skip him. The easiest way to kill him is pushing him off the tower. Just run towards him as soon as you get up from the ladder and hit him off the edge then reload your save to get the drop. There is a way to make him friendly but that only works if you don't kill any beast in Old Yharnam which you have probably done so that's out of the question.
>werewolves They get staggered easily so faster attacks are better than slow ones. Just wait for them to finish their attack and then hit them with the short axe R1 until you only have stamina to dash away, dash away, rinse and repeat until they die.
Cooper Brown
>of course this game only gets praised because it's on a sub par console, shame, if this was on PC not many people would care about it
you sound so mad. it's like you're not even trying to be believable. yes, you can totally not like the game, but don't act like bloodborne fucked your girlfriend. that's what's actually sad.
Matthew Lopez
>stop saying things I don't like waaaaaaaah!
The funny thing is that these are all valid points, I've completed all 3 Souls games on PC with a smooth framerate, I'm not putting up with this cinematic garbage, my standards aren't low like most Playstation fans
Joseph Smith
I'm a PC player as well with a PlayStation, and it's a better game than Souls on PC. You're just shitposting.
Parker Smith
Of course people think youre baiting cause all the points youve listed are Dark Souls' flaws just aswell, you hipocrit
Jaxon James
>no choppy framerate if you're on PC >all areas in the Souls games aren't dark towns >Souls games boss fights don't need mash to win, do that and you're history >the lore in the Souls games are amazing, even DS2 had it's interesting moments >no problems with the camera >you don't farm for health items in the Souls games except for the first one silly, why would they bring that awful mechanic back?
Jaxson Evans
You don't need to hit him, as soon as you leave the ladder lock on and shoot him 4 times, he will drop down.
William Smith
Only thing you're right about is frame rate. The rest is just shitposting.
James Gonzalez
>The truth is shitposting
You can't refute anything I say, pic related is you :^)
Aaron Wood
Ignore this guy, the key difference in Bloodborne vs Souls is you should be aggressive thanks to the rally system. That doesn't mean go all out especially on some of the human opponents but be more aggressive than in souls. Most of the beast like bosses and enemies can either be stunlocked or staggered if hit enough
Grayson White
>dark towns Simply not true since there are forests, snowey castles, and alien worlds. Oh but I guess it doesn't have the given lava level and poison swamp level so that makes it bad >mash to win Wrong here as well. Mashing will just get you killed like any other souls games. In fact, the game actually punishes you if you get hit mid animation. >souls lore The only game in the series that actually has a story. Lore is there too. >camera This happens in all the games. Not an argument. >farming Only if you're bad at the game.
Connor Reed
Souls is about staggering enemies, Borne is about dodging enemies
Liam Young
This. The saw cleaver/pistol combo is probably the best for newbies in regards to taking advantage of the small openings enemies give you to attack. Also I found the first few hours without a shield pretty hard too, I never realised what a turtle I was till I played BB, you just need to learn to dodge in and out with the enemies attack patterns. Also I recommend learning to pistol parry with the two brick dudes on your way to papa gas, sacrificing a few deaths to get the parry timing down will make life easier in the long run, and the blood vials you'll farm won't go astray either
Robert Phillips
AWAY! AWAY!
Ayden Gray
Why did I knew it belonged to PC cuck.
Aiden Hughes
Considering it has stable framerate after patch he blow at that too. It's PC autist, don't bother.
Angel Evans
I've completed all Souls games on PlayStation consoles because unlike PC shit eaters I actually have games and standards.
Josiah Stewart
>I've completed all Souls games on PlayStation consoles because unlike PC shit eaters I actually have games and standards. You sure told us.
