I want to get one for Demon's Souls and the Shadow of the Colossus port but the latter is really expensive and hard to find so I'm having a hard time justifying spending THAT much money for two games

Kinda risky, it's probably due a YLOD. Also I believe the 80GB is only backwards compatible on old firmware.

The PS3 you mentioned should have it, make sure it's version 3.55, talk to the seller if you have to

I kind of want a cheap ps3 for weeb games. Just iffy though because the last used system I bought (a vita) has the face buttons randomly like to get stiff about popping back out. Worked fine for about a month than it started happening.
Pulling it apart to clean under the buttons is a massive pain in the ass going by the videos I've seen.
