New player here and about to play the trial but it's still many GBs away. What's the pros and cons of this game compared to WoW?

Story's better. Late game "rotations" are more complex if you're into that.
"Lore" is worse, I.E I hope you enjoy doing absolutely nothing related to being a Paladin for the first fifteen job quests as opposed to all the background story and class quests that Wow (at least used to) has(ve). Also the early game is even more boring than WoW.
That's about it, most of the rest is so similar it's not really worth talking about. Oh, XIV has a better OST too, so there's that. And Trials are a fun mix-up I guess.
