Corrin is a pretty different character depending on the route you play too. It's honestly pretty jarring to go from Birthright "kill hundred of Nohrians no problem" Corrin to Conquest "please dun kill anyone ;_;" Corrin.

Second, if you pick anyone, hell even Lucas, of the pay to play DLC characters you automatically have an advantage over a mixed bag of half the cast of the free roster. THIRD, I almost kicked his ass so I'm well aware now that Sheik is good at Corrin. That doesn't mean I feel like outplaying him and dignifying his scrubbiness for picking Corrin.

I think the problem with Fates is not Garon. Its how Corrin is written and EVERYTHING about Azura. and Birthright is fucking boring, but I think its passable since its a straightforward story.

Like, the reason Corrin decides to go back to Nohr in Conquest should not be 'Well I want to make sure my dad didn't mean to blow me up', it should be out of loyalty to his family. The fact that Corrin spends so much time trying not to rock the boat instead of convincing his siblings of the right thing to do is fucking absurd. The Royals even threaten to execute Corrin at the end of the game when trying to explain that the super evil king is actually a monster, like it makes a fucking difference
