I don't get it, Leaf Green and Soul Silver are completely different games. This doesn't show anything.

It makes perfect sense, when you have super powered animals that are capable of destroying the world its only right to completely focus all your technology and interest into them.

I don't even care about that, I care more that the English localized scripts for HGSS, BW1, and BW2 are all stifled and literal as fuck except for the stuff that's ripped wholesale from the original GSC localization in HGSS. It's fucking awful. TPCi got better at localizations starting with XY but it's still pretty rough.

Just so you know, the bottom game isn't a remake of the top game, but a sequel.
