Horizon.

Is arms really that bad? I was gonna buy it but I'll buy dirt 4 instead if arms is bad.

Thimbleweed Park
It started off intriguing, but it could not stick the landing at all. Everything felt unresolved in favor of some elaborate meta joke. It's like it was trying to be Undertale levels of surprising and it really fell flat.

>Is arms really that bad?
Considering that Splatoon 2 comes out in a fucking month, yes.

It's a game where you know how it will play and feel after watching 10 secods of gameplay. You can tell if it's for you or not. It looks like a fun 2 hours with friends and that's it.

I stopped buying games long time ago.

Well it looks like I'm getting dirt 4 then.

Nier automata, can see the appeal of it, but the gameplay is fucking boring as shit, and for me personally, gameplay is at the top of enjoyment for a game.

Probably some shit I got in a humble bundle and never started up.
Haven't played any bad games this year.

For Honor, devs fucked the meta and can't be assed to fix the connection issues

heehee! excuse me while i pirate this wine!

:) wow dumb consumers with their willingness to spend money, we are truly the patricians of the world, not paying for the things we want.

heh, just pirate your way to a good life! the true master race. :}

any game with a black person in it

This. Arms dead in a month. Still, it's pretty fun

I guess it's ARMS since the only other games I've bought this year are BotW and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

My lasy bought game was Pillars of Eternity.
Not the worst game but I wish I bought it on Gog instead of Steam.

It's not bad, but nothing to write home about either. It's a solid 75/100

Oh man I bought that crap on release for pc.

There's more people playing tekken 7 now.

Resident Evil 7

Nier Automata

Easily Andromeda

for honor

Only game I paid for this year is Nier Automata and its fucking phenomenal.

Pubg

Overhyped, unoptimized garbage

No, the industry's been so shit that I've no reason to buy anything new and am just playing through my backlog. It's fine if you like to eat shit though, that's your business

Not sure, but I'm quickly regretting my purchase of Tekken 7.

Considering this year I've only bought
>Killing Floor 2
>PoE stashes
>Rocket League
>Welcome bundle on hearthstone
without any doubt the worst purchase was hearthstone

It's been a while since I last saw this meme.

this
kinda
the game is awesome, you just cant play it

Snake Pass, not because its bad, but because I haven't gotten anything worse. It's been a nice year to be honest.

Injustice 2. I should really stop buying fighting games.

I don't think I've even bought a game this year

>he fall for Ubisoft meme

I would never buy anything from Ubisoft just because they cant handle their own shit.

I bought Automata as well. The sidequests are so boring that I drop the game. I dont find wasting time waiting on load screen teleporting back and forth for Jean Paul quest or wander aimlessly searching for three random junk in a desert without any landmark fun.
Main story is interesting, but sidequest sucked all the fun.

>hearthstone
>purchase

This.

Personally I've been playing through the original Thief series. Shit's cash.

Probably Nioh.

Worse combat than Ninja Gaiden.
Awful balance.
Fails at being a good Souls clone.

Team Ninja is back my ass.

I've only bought RE7 and Fire Emblem Echoes and thoroughly enjoyed both

I know man. The first five hours where you're getting the ropes is kinda fun, but after that, shit gets stale really hard.

yeah I know it was foolish to spend money on that stupid game. Won't happen again

Nioh. It's also my GOTY so far.

I haven't bought Horizon yet but I'm hesitant. I never thought it looked that interesting but everyone is pretty much praising it as the second coming

Is Killing Floor 2 good as a multiplayer game? I'm getting sick of Overwatch but my friends can't think of anything else they want to play.

Git gud George

mario kart

havent owned a nintendo console since the n64 and their stuff is still hilariously overrated

I haven't even played half of the games I bought.

this but with females that aren't riding my dick too

Re7 first playthrough was fantastic. Damn shame about the lack of enemy variety since shotgun and magnum felt so satisfying to shoot.

Havent bought a game since 2011 nigga, only a few microtransactions in wot and wt but that neither since 2013

I haven't really played anything bad so far. I have been so picky with my games this year trying to save money. Mainly trying to finish my backlog so nothing really new. So far I've done;
-latest hitman
-Xcom2
-portal knights
-nioh

Currently working through the witcher 3 and playing bf1 with friends.

Worst game so far that I dropped after an hour was Killing Floor 2. I only played it cause it was free (psn) and I still feel like I lost money. (Which technically I did)

Divinity Original Sin. What a lifeless piece of shit. Felt dead after 40 minutes of playing it.

Will you mail ARMS to me if you don't like it?

I've honestly been having more fun playing payday2

This was thoroughly mediocre.

Not OP but I played the ARMS testfires, it was fun but for like 40 minutes. Couldn't even sit through the full hour. Maybe it'd be fun against a friend but I can't justify 60 bucks, man.

Nier Automata
Weebs talked it up like it was the most interesting thing to come out this year, I should have realised that weebs have such awful taste that they think something is deep if you make some fudged references to entry level existentialism and play some sad music

bump for this

Some sidequests though, are fantastic.

The one with the friend looking for their comrade's killer is great.

You'll be bored within a couple of hours COD zombies has much more variety.

I don't understand how anyone fell for this meme. It was clearly Wii Boxing with bloated production values.

if you liked killing floor 1 then yes.
It may get boring really fast if you are not into it as all matches are kinda similar

Prey

I left a few months ago.
He you know who still in charge now or did the expansion replace him with something even worse?

Friday the 13th, I knew I shouldn't have bought a game built around playing with friends.

I'll be your friend user

he is still in charge + there are new cancers for other classes so in a certain way the game is balanced (warlock excluded)
>if everyone is overpowered nobody is

KH ReMix
I love KH, already played through the first twice in a row a couple weeks ago, but i'm not enjoying KH2 as much as I used to. I'm not a fan of all of the lame ass mini games or boss fights. The combat is the only thing I positively like.

Oh well, at least I can try out the new CoM, the GBA version is goat

Super Metroid.
It's the only game I've bought this year ;P

>play some sad music
This, the only good track is vs Adam and Eve. Rest of the music are emo chantings.

Not interested

>For honor
I'm a neet so it hit's me extra hard.

You type like a faggot, work on it

I can't play it because it's tedious and repetitive, if it had some actual objective modes the game would be great, but spamming 1v1s is boring.

I got The Last Guardian shortly after it dropped to $40. It's pretty much the only game that I solidly regret buying on PS4 although Near a Tomato is pretty close

Honestly yeah, Arms. I played it for an hour and regret it.

I'm selling it. The good thing about Nintendo's games is that they sell extremely easily and keep their value.

How the fuck was it mediocre?

Yeah it's a steep price with it's entire value being multiplayer, but I guess that's most fighters. I'm having a blast just playing party mode to earn coins for new ARMS before even trying ranked.

You fat slut no one will ever love you

>he is still in charge
dropped
I'm going wait for few season rotations like with MTG maybe in few years it will be fixed or so different I won't notice the cancer for a year or so upon coming back.

I also regret buying TLG, except I paid a full 60 US dollars for it. Also paid 60 for FFXV, which I regret. Don't regret Nier though. I've been enjoying it a lot

Replying pretending to be me, fuck off

>nearly bought deformers
That would have been my worst purchase if I didn't read the steam reviews and find that it was dead on arrival.
I bought Meadow for me and two friends. We somehow played quite a lot but it's literally just running around and barking at other players. Luckily I've been playing my old 3ds ambassador games so I haven't spent that much.

None. I didn't buy into the marketing and shilling. Stayed away from AAA westrash and ended up golden with what's possibly one the best years for videogames in the longest time.

Work on getting my foot out of your ass first

Jesus

By all means, enjoy it, but none of my mates bought the game either so that leaves me with very few reasons to buy this ggame at 60 EUR.

Adjust the difficulty. If you just want to smash shit turn it to easy, if you want a solid challenge crank it up.

Dawn of War 3

Not about difficulty but the melee movesets are really damn limited. I dont want to shoot things.

>I never thought it looked that interesting
Then don't, it's slightly less interesting than it looks. I was hyped for robo dinosaurs and was left tepid

Last year, but god fucking damn if I don't regret it

Overwatch

Back to CoD, babby.

Nioh. The game is just not fun a second time around.

The world is pretty bad, but combat mechanics are fine.
It would be better as a more "arcade" game where you only crawl dungeons and ignore the excuse plot.

No man's sky

Wizorb

Why would you buy that this year? Everyone's known it was garbage since release last August or whatever

lol what a dick

I feel like ARMS is getting a bad rap. The tournament really showed the learning curve with the weaker players learning and adapting to their opponents, like the finals here. Then Yabuki put on a clinic in the exhibition.
