Life is weird

Guys is there anything else quite like LiS? I don't mean "just give em heavy rain or telltale" i mean anything that has the same "feel" as it? Like that rustic small town comfy feel setting? Anything anyone can recommend? Or do i just wait for before the storm?

Bully is set in a bording school in a small town, and it's pretty fun.

Deadly Premonition

You just enjoy roleplaying a normal teenager life because you're a fuckup.

I know I feel that way...

Uh, Persona 4?

Night in the Woods, if you're into furries

You mean shitty games? There's plenty of those.

chloe looks way better with her natural hair 2bh family

Persona 4

Sorry, I'm not a faggot

You're okay in my book.

Also, Alan Wake is comfy when it's not a complete nightmare.

now that's a big fat lie and you know it

Waych Twin Peaks or play Deadly Premonition.

Gone Home

Night in the Woods, for sure

Unironically this. Good "game" for 90s nostalgia.

Persona 3-5
Deadly premonition
Bully

Hey OP,

you ever heard of "Silent Hill"?
Check it out and make sure to visit the hospital there, they have some hot nurses!

Oxenfree

Not 3rd person, but you play as a teenage girl with a bunch of friends and there's a supernatural mystery and shit on a small town on an island

It's the closest I've found in terms of 'feel'. I've been trying to find similar stuff to plug the gap LiS left behind :/

>ywn be a comfy lesbian living a cozy life with your qt soulmate

seriously bros why live? not even joking, not a rhetorical question why actually live? i just don't even know anymore. fucking xenoestrogens.

The burden of her being a suicidal retard is terrible, though

Although I suppose using time travel to sacrifice the lives of thousands of innocent people to sustain her purifies your love

Alan Wake perhaps?
I'm not American but I think those settings are very underutilized but I don't know where they take place in the States.
The setting in those Twilight movies feels very familiar

Just wait for Before the Storm and relish the fact that Burch got booted. She was by far the worst part of the first game.

OP this is the answer you're looking for, really charming game and it's even a little bit more interactive than LiS.

I dunno user, i think she is adorable

The only other game that gave me that rustic small town feel was Alan Wake.
Yeah it's a horror game but the feels were fantastic.

Can anyone recommend me some more high school games like this? I never knew how much I enjoyed the school setting till I played LiS.

OH SHIT user OP HERE THIS LOOKS SPOOK AF. NOICE.

she's ugly

user she's literally a slasher villain with a penis.

Bully and Persona are the only ones I can think of

Looks a little 2spooky4me. Is it comfy at all?

I'm pretty sure there's at least a hundred shitty indie "films" aimed at teenagers that have what you're looking for

>Spending your whole life protecting a self destructing lesbian who can't control herself around you

Don't know sounds pretty fun to me

It's comfy af, you spend time with each of the individual characters and there's plenty of dialogue to explore for each while you run around Scooby Doo style trying to solve the mystery to the island. Ending is pretty bleak though.

I actually forgot this existed until the other user posted it, reminds me I have to go replay it since they added some extra stuff about a year back.

You fags should watch 13 reasons why

Persona 4. At least you get an actual game to go with your buddy buddy friend simulator, you pathetic son of a bitch.

Maybe Yu-no. It's a Jap vn from 96'. It's in a small Japanese town, and has a cool tone.

vanishin of ethan carter

Kek. I finished Persona 4 long before i finished Life is Strange. Its hilarious what some of you fags will define as "a game" but not others. I loved Persona 4 user, but """""game"""""""? Fuck off with that shit. Games like Persona 4 and FFVII also fall into that questionable amount of gameplay for me, i don't care how "stradegy" you think you are being, its mostly cutscenes and diolouge. The difference is i can just admit i enjoy them without some disclaimer.

Gone Home

On that note, watch Skins if you want the ultimate show about teenage years.

I'm really surprised to see this recommended here of all places

Season 5 & 6's Franky's actress drives me NUTS. The girl from the golden compass grew up and she is beautiful

>mfw I watched Skins: Rise with Cook

This. I want to be him lads.

The ending of season 4 left me blue balled for years

Before the storm isn't being made by dontnod, so it'll probably be shit. Already confirmed for no gimmick either.

very comfy, slightly spooky but not too much, gets a bit creepy at points but nothing outright horror

Nice, think I'll pick it up then.

But being an outcast let's you enjoy it that much more. If you were a normie you wouldn't appreciate on the kino level.
