Name a bad one

epic yarn was casual trash
epic yarn is the worst since you're never in real danger
the rest were good or better
Kirby is casual trash
try again
>canvas curse
>tilt n' tumble
>mass attack
>squeak squad
But despite it's casualness the platforming mechanics of Epic Yarn are still great
Epic Yarn is really good casual trash
...
Try to 100% Epic Yarn and then come back crying.
Dark Souls my ass.
>kirby
>donkey kong
>castlevania
>metroid
>wario
what others series have almost all entirely games?
Like you are ever in danger in other Kirby games.
Kirby has never had a good game. Every Kirby game is mediocre at best.
I'm not sure user but I think there's a lot of series that are entirely games
Kirby 64 is trash
>what others series have almost all entirely games?
What did he meant by this?
All of them.
Kirby's dream land was pretty good for an early gameboy game and Kirby Super Star is genuinely a great game. The problem is that every Kirby game afterwards was Kirby Super Star with a new coat of paint.
I have made a mistake
It's casual, but it sure ain't trash.
The mirror one
The mlp of vidya is pokemon though
ponyfags were so autistic that they needed a containment board
the same thing happened to pokefags
It was pretty ace, man.
The reason the Kirby series doesn't have a bad game is because they're all mediocre, except for a handful, which range from great to god-tier.
No different from Call of Duty, really.
Compared to what?
Nightmare in Dreamland is worse than the Nintendo version.
But unlike mlp, Pokémon games are allowed to be discussed on Sup Forums and have actual substance.
all kirby games are bland as fuck
>Slow as shit
>Controls stunted, momentum cuts out constantly
>Can't even use most copy abilities because you have to build a specific one to get through a specific checkered wall that the game arbitrarily decided was only weak to one combination
>Nearly all levels are just flat corridors
Not really
>thank you for never especially you having any bad games
Air ride is pretty bad. Probably the most bland mascot racer I've played.
>>canvas curse
good
>tilt n' tumble
mediocre
>mass attack
I liked it
>squeak squad
mediocre.
I played through all of triple deluxe and it was pretty bad. One of the few games aside from Atelier Escha & Logy to actually put me to sleep while playing.
That seems pretty up there for Sup Forums-standards.
>what did he meant by this
what did he mean by this?
Eat shit, 64 was amazing.
Rainbow Curse
>slower movement
>Kirby knocked by after ramming things
>trails last longer
>has more bosses but the majority of them are shit and they're lazily reskinned/recycled
>no abilities
>less interesting unlockables
>can't appreciate the art style because you're stuck looking at the crappy gamepad
>multiplayer completely goes against the game's forced gimmick (forced because Kirby isn't cursed to be a ball or anything, he just chooses to be one for literally no reason)
This is a pokebarneyfag thread, he's been making these anti-kirby threads and than samefagging and phoneposting in them.
It ain't the best Kirby.
But it's still a good game in my book.
Kirby games are too fucking easy for me to have an opinion about. I can't tell if they're good or bad.
>Surely no one could dislike my series
>must be a samefag
t. Pokebarneyfag
He likely thinks he's doing something great for humanity.
>the instant someone points out flaws in one game, fanboys rush in to say that despite the issues it's not bad because they say so
I really disliked the 2 "drawing" games that they made. They just felt dumb to play, and rainbow curse was especially terrible with it beeing just auto-scroller after auto-scroller
Amazing Mirror
Super Star
Mass Attack
Did you complete Dreamland 2 and Blockball?
TD was awfully monotonous at times, but it has plenty of quality in the right places. It's just a shame the middle-of-the-road worlds are such an uninteresting slog, with pyribbit being the shit cherry on top, but I still think the game is quite enjoyable overall for its beginning, ending, drum dash, and extra modes. Dededetour's streamlining of the campaign was quite enjoyable in hindsight, and the true arena is always fun
Well, at least they have the best Heavy Lobster theme.
youtu.be
If you can't recognize good game design in an easy game you can't recognize good game design period.
I loved Canvas Curse.
I thought it played really well, and it was one of the games that sold me on the DS being revolutionary.
I only wasn't stoked by the music. If was just plain bad, particularly for a Kirby game. And the background repeated a little much. You could tell the game was rushed in some department.
>thread asks for opinions
>faggot gets mad at positive opinions
cry me a river dick cheese
>Well, at least they have the best Heavy Lobster theme
Yeah, in the fucking sound test and nowhere in the actual game. Same goes for nearly every remix.
Dream Land was very basic, even for a gameboy game. And it was released 3 years after the Gameboy released, so I wouldn't call it an "early" gameboy game. I guess Super Star was alright, 2 player co-op platformers weren't too common back then, but there are still a number of better platformers on the SNES.
Compared to other games. Even compared to other Nintendo platformers, it's weak.
So apparently a Japanese miiverse post confirmed that the multiplayer fighting game coming out this winter for the 3ds has not been replaced by Kirby for Switch.
miiverse.nintendo.net
The dream is not dead, it's just sleeping.
canvas > rainbow
wii u fags only defend rainbow because it's one of the few games that piece of shit console got
The game certainly did use all of the ds features very well, I will give you that
this was my first and only kirby game, i even 100% all the treasure chests
>castlevania
>Judgment exists
>Dracula X exists
>Lords of Shadows 2 exists
>The Castlevania Adventure exists
>wario
>Master of Disguise
Go on, try to defend it
>high tier
Super Star
Triple Deluxe
Robobot
RTDL
Adventure
>Mid Tier
Dream Land
64
>Low Tier
The DS games
Epic Yarn
Really disappointing game.
I meant to say almost entirely good games
almost, not every single one
>High Tier
>Triple Deluxe
Triple Deluxe is fucking boring. The levels are flat as fuck and Hypernova is literally the worst gimmick in the series.
But that a completely reasonable constellation of events.
Someone complains about something. Someone else casts doubt on whether that complaint legitimately makes something a bad game.
I don't think I've seen anyone on Sup Forums really defend Rainbow Curse though.
It's too bad as well that it ain't very good. It was fucking adorable.
>wario
pic related got really close
The end boss theme is fucking great.

fuck off with this "all kirby games are good" meme
I'm playing dreamland 2 and some of it is pretty hard.
>this ice dragon boss that sends spikes down and then the spikes break into smaller spikes
>the DS games
So Super Star Ultra is lowtier?
>what did he mean by this?
What did he meme by this?
>TD in High Tier
>DL2 and DL3 nowhere on the list
>putting Ultra in Low Tier
Power Paintbrush
It's the same shit as Super Star you ultra autists, of course he isn't going to include a remake, nightmare in dreamland isn't on there.
Man common sense people
Read that again.
I don't think that's what they said.
I don't think no one has ever doubted that the Switch game replaced the new 3DS game that's coming out this winter.
>It's the same shit as Super Star
It's better.
Canvas course is the best "gimmicky" kirby there is, you no taste fag
triple deluxe is shit
nice facebook meme, please go back
Triple Deluxe is objectively inferior to RtDL and PR
>but muh bee waifu
Fuck off Taranza
It definitely got spacey in a cool way, but even the best tracks still sounds rather tinny compared to what I'd expect from Kirby.
Plus more added content and minor changes.
>still sounds rather tinny
You can thank the DS' shitty speakers.
youtube.com
youtube.com
I'd tie it with Block Ball, but maybe a Breakout clone is almost too proven a concept to be labeled "gimmicky."
So everyone can agree that the Holy Trikirby is Return to Dreamland, Super Star Ultra and Robobot right?
Even with headphones though.
Just seemed like weak mixing to me, but you're probably right that the speakers were prioritized in CC.
>doing a perfect run on bossrush
I hate Ice Dragon and Kracko so much because of this.
Hard to say since a lot of people like the other games just as much, but I'll give you SSU which is great imo, with RtD having the best postgame hard mode
Replace Super Star with Triple Deluxe and you've got it.
I can't wait for Kirby Switch to bury that overrated piece of shit RtDL
>Robobot
As long as it gets recognition I'm cool with whatever the other 2 are. Robobot is fucking great.
What about the trinity of kirby spinoffs? Obvious Air Ride. But what else?
Never really got into Kirby before but I LOVED the Planet Robobot demo and can't wait to get it.
Having a lot of fun with Kirby Clash Deluxe at the moment too
Crystal Shards is fucking atrocious
>Replace Super Star with Triple Deluxe
That's just dumb. Super Star offers way more than Triple Deluxe.
>tfw we'll never get RtDL with better level design, Ultra with better audio, and Robobot with more levels
They're all so close to being perfect.
I really like dream course
>Replace Super Star with Triple Deluxe
I can certainly see it outshining it but I've had a lot of fun playing it in coop with my big brother, I chose those three not only because they're great but because they all deliver on different departments, Robobot for solo adventure, RtDL on coop adventure and Super Star on short, varied experiences.
