What game?
the worst of all time
But that's not the witcher 3
Witcher III is truly the greatest RPG of all time
I bought the gothic collection on steam and I'm currently playing 1. I really like the open endedness of it but I hate the controls. Any mods that modernize them?
you will get used to them after a while and it will feel natural to you
gothic 2's controls are much better tho
M O R R O W I N D
I see at character creation you put all your points in faggot and named him OP.
You will never get past midgame with that build.
It should be mandatory to take your kid to a psychiatrist and given medication to prevent autism like this from happening.
You know what fuck it. I'm gonna do that.
>Calls others autistic
>Posts anime reaction image
How so
Can someone post the gothic 2 webm of the guy in the city getting those chests behind the guard. Sorry I'm a newbie.
Goddamn it there is a patch for that missing mesh in MGSO 3.0
Just download it!
> best RPG
> can't even Role Play
how do i make character in morrowind that doesn't suck ass?
...
what kinda moron are you ?!
You know my struggle. We are kin.
ah, thanks you
the amount of hidden shit in Gothic is unbelievable
There are even items on top of the fucking roofs of buildings in the city
It's even more hidden shit than in Deus Ex and this is a big open world
kill yourself Hans
it is very vertical. I just started and I read that there was 6 different ways to get into the city.
More than in Gothic you can.
But can you reach Ebonheart from Khorinis' harbor?
How am I supposed to tolerate the first hour of Gameplay in Morrowind? Not even Twilight Princess' tutorial is an unbearable as the slog that is Seyda Neyn to Balmora and whatever quests or "enemies" are in between
Only one role and that's Garret, you can't play as a mage, thief, Assassin etc just Garret not really a role playing game. Can't even play as a bad guy t b h
Actually there's 7, you can also backtrack a little and jump into the sea and then swim all the way to the harbor. And when you get to the city you get XP points an unique dialogue from a guy at the harbor who's like "What? you swam all the way here?"
>using mgso
download.fliggerty.com
Download this, it fixes all or most of the bugs in MGSO.
get a shitload of money then seek out the trainers for whatever kind of armor you wear and whatever kind of weapon you use
get the boots of blinding speed and obtain/enchant a ring or whatever to resist blindness
brew potions that raise your stats so you can brew better potions that raise your stats
Orc with Axe as a major skill. Buy the two handed iron axe from the Seyda Neen trader. You are now literally powerful enough to complete the game.
Seyda neen isn't a tutorial. You can literally beeline straight out of that town to anything in the game.
Have something he's good at from the start so it can be your work horse skill.
can't wait for Gothic threads to be purged on sight, soon enough
I've modded Morrowind way too many times to bother with it again. MGSO has made itself way way too easy to install even if you already have your hand-picked mods downloaded somewhere to make it faster.
And do fucking what? Go through that swampy Bay to get to Balmora instead of through Pelegiad? That just means my first hour will be spent, not only not getting the beginning of the Main Quest done, but spending my hour running into shit that my character cant deal with and getting one shotted.
It cant be the best when Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song exists
It shouldn't take an hour to do ALL of the quests in Seyda Neen. Maybe half an hour at most.
You can take the silt strider to Balmora.
If you're really smart, you can leave the census office with a few hundred drakes worth of loot. Ez pz and takes 10 mins.
Thank you, have a good day.
Pay 15 gold to take the silt strider directly to balmora.
Turn on auto sprint and mash jump as you run across the river directly to the South Wall corner club. Talk to the cat lady to join the thieves guild, ask the bartender, then talk to the owner, then go up the stairs to the dude's house.
Collect your free 200 gold, become a Blades initiate, then get your orders.
Done. Now you have money to buy some gear and two faction quests to do, in addition to whatever else you want to do.
Walking to balmora is awful. Until you can literally fly like superman across the map just use fast travel
get a basic healing spell and then swim with the piranhas while spamming it over and over until you run out of magicka to raise like five stats at once.
>If you're really smart, you can leave the census office with a few hundred drakes worth of loot. Ez pz and takes 10 mins.
And you can even earn yourself a comfy hovel while you're at it.
Choose a single weapon skill to start with in your major skills, use the steed sign and major in athletics as well if you can't handle the initial slow movement of your character.
Most people struggle with having more than one weapon skill to start the game with, and/or using a weapon you have no majored in. That's like 85% of the reason people have trouble getting started in Morrowind.
Hyperbole: the Thread
Oblivion noob, lurk moar newfag
do you mind? we're talking about morrowind earlygame builds
No, you can pay like 13 gold to use the silt strider that's 100ft away from the office you step out of to go to Balmora.
From the time you enter your name, to the time you speak to Caius can be as short as like 5 minutes depending on how experienced you are with character creation.
Bless this post.
once you mod it right you never have to mod it again unless you're dumb and delete everything after a playthrough
MCP makes it literally risk free to add and remove mods in an active playthrough too
I didnt' say just Seyda Neen I said Seyda Neen to Balmora. I don't want to be an autistic kleptomaniac just to have enough cash to buy iron armor
Wow 300 gold to buy the towns shittiest chest piece, greaves, boots and a shitty weapon, maybe even a spell. Or I can just steal the gold from the elf, walk to Balmora and have 1000 by the time I get there.
Why is the only way to enjoy the first part of this game to completely skip the first part of the game just to do the 3 boring quests the Fighters/Mages/Thieves guild vomit at you. God forbid you want to play a fighter and have to wait till your athletics is at 100 to make walking tolerable.
I know about the Silt Strider. Why the heck would I want to skip my first set of instructions and a chance to see the games surroundings to quick travel to a place where the next handful of quests it gives me are god awful fetch quests in the worlds most boring walking simulator.
>pic related
>Why the heck would I want to skip my first set of instructions and a chance to see the games surroundings
DON'T beeline to the silt strider if this is your first playthrough. DO beeline to the silt strider if this is a subsequent playthrough and you are already familiar with the initial instructions and the games surroundings. Are you actually stupid?
Sounds like you are determined to not enjoy the game. Just move on man, Morrowind sucks dog dicks and you proved it to everyone now. All the Morrowind threads will cease cause you finally empirically proved how badly the game is designed and now none of us will enjoy it after seeing the light. Mission accomplished.
you can stop replying to yourself now
user pls we've been through this
It's not out yet
at least put todds face on top of the niggers baka lazy fuck
>I don't want to miss a chance to see and explore the world
>The world is boring, empty and a straight up walking simulator
Are you listening to yourself nigger
That would make less funny
it's already not funny
What the fuck are you on about. I obviously want to enjoy the game. The beginning is just a slog. I just want to know where the interesting enemies or half descent quests or dungeons are for the first couple levels. All the roads are lined with mine entrances and ancestral tombs. Which ones don't one shot newbies. Even if you skip to Balmora the most interesting enemies in ten minutes in any direction is a cliff racer.
obvious samefag replying to himself
So its a bad idea then
It can't be that empty theres shit all to the side. What class and direct do I have to go to not be tediously bored until I got enough cash for a levitation + speed spell
...
delet this
How viable is archery in Morrowind?
...
As viable as everything else in the game that doesn't involve abusing the Alchemy and Enchanting systems
...
sick MS Paint skills
Le samefag huehue
...
Why did you post this?
>tfw every one of OP's desperate attempts to talk up his shitty game evitably turns into a morrowind thread
fatt
Honestly after multiple playthroughs I have to say none of the enemy variation matters. The game is so easy to exploit that unless you are constantly vigilant in your pursuit to handicap yourself, it will become supremely easy.
I'm wrapping up a playthrough now of a spear and general magic build and after ONLY doing the fighters guild and mages guild questline I'm just bunny hopping from point A to point B stabbing everything to death without needing to heal to strategize anything.
Obviously I love Morrowind, I play it all the time. But once you get your bearings in the world you need a 2 year break for it to be worth playing again.
My advice is to not use a wiki, give Fargoth the ring, sell everything you could pick up that's not nailed down before leaving the Census office. Sell it all to Arille in the tradehouse and buy a weapon you need and hearth heal if your restoration skill is high enough to cast it 30% of the time at least.
Then go find the tax collectors body, tell the Census agent, kill the murderer (Unless your RP is gonna make that an issue) get your 500 Gold. Then take the silt strider to Balmora, get your 200 gold from Caius. He gives you a good RP out to go do non main quest stuff.
Now depending on how youre roleplaying, or depending on your skillset if youre too inexperienced with the lore to RP properly, join one of the three guilds in Balmora, or go join a great-house, or join the temple/imperial cult.
Really if this is your first playthrough you should play it by ear after speaking to Caius. Just be aware of the three guilds you can join off jump-street.
Jesus I don't know why I reddit format my posts. I've been doing it since like 2004.
All me.
I guess you are looking for a sandbox game then. In that case, go and play TES games.
>reddit format
that meme only started a year or two ago, people have reddit formatting since the dawn of this shit
I tried this on my save and it's impossible to jump over the merchant shit.
Is it patched out? makes me kind of mad
>year or two
people only started whining about it like a few months ago. it's just a flaseflag meme to try to end arguments without making any yourself. it looks and reads much better than a giant wall of text like retards have been doing to avoid being "called out"
>that reddit spacing
kys
If it is the greatest, why does it suffer from memory leaks and CTDs?
"Quality" germanicuck engineering
Fucking krauts can't do shit without using jew-fueled technology.
Hey man, that soap worked pretty well.
You have to align at the leftmost edge of it
and if you still can't do it there's also a different way
>the amount of hidden shit in Gothic is unbelievable
that webm isnt something hidden though, an NPC (Lars I think) tells you shit is over there.
or you can just strafe past the guard because the game is janky as hell and NPCs cant engage you while your strafing
that's a glitch.
if you use glitches to break the game you're a fag
might as well tell people to just use the console to teleport themselves there
>use a glitch to accomplish literally the same thing the "intended" method does but faster is the same as cheating
>Ignaz gives you the Oblivion spell scroll and asks you to test it on somebody and report to him with the results
>knock him out and steal all his shit while he's unconscious and then use the Oblivion spell on him so he doesn't remember any of it
the whole game is one big fucking glitch after another
NoTR is sooooo fucking harrrrrd.
no its not
it was not indented by the devs. Climbing on roofs of the buildings was because there's hidden items on top of them
You should have some self control and not use glitches like a faggot
