No, games are developed with 3D in mind and N3DS has perfectly good 3D. Nearly every 3DS game looks far better with 3D on.

A Dutch PR company just confirmed to Gamer.nl that they are handling the PR for the western release of Dragon Quest 11, thus confirming that the game is coming to the west. Platform(s)/release date weren't mentioned.

Yes. Has all the hardware upgrades of the New 3DS, a folding clamshell design, and no 3D gimmick nobody uses for more than a few minutes

I'd imagine playing it on such a small screen and without a proper second analogue stick for camera controls would be a pain

It has more maps and content, but worse visuals, audio and performance.

it's a bit better in terms of consistent framerate, but it doesn't have the same number of max enemies on screen at the same time, be prepared to abuse faries to get high kill counts for those adventure maps

great port though, got a couple hundred hours out of it

I have man hands, but still prefer the standard size for the far sharper visuals. It's a 240p screen, and making the screen bigger causes 3D models to look like ass by exposing pixelation and aliasing. It's fine for 2D sprite games though.

The XLs do have a longer battery life though, and the bigger touch screen allows touch inputs and drawing to be more accurate. The bigger screen is nice for those who have the "bigger is better" mentality. Your friends can see your gameplay easier from the side too, especially if it's Dual IPS or at least Top IPS for the superior viewing angles.

The standard 3DS has sharper visuals, better portability, and customizable faceplates.
