It was shit, literally nothing to buy.
>steam sale
>fun
The last time I had fun shopping was Insomnia
This, PC gaming is a meme.
Valve needs to die with their creatively bankrupt ass
I've almost finished the Witcher 3 base game and have the expansions already. Should I buy 1 and/or 2 now or wait until the next sale?
>was about to buy some games
>car engine misfires
fuck me up the ass.
>Buying games on Steam
Yes yes, feed him.
Get them now from Good Old Games
How much do you think he makes a day, on average?
I forgot it was even on.
After the first 10 mins there was no reason to check again.
>fuck me up the ass.
I'll pay you enough to repair your car AND gte those games, user.
So many games that are five dollars more than they should be.
Is it worth buying Cities Skylines?
no
get sim city instead
i'm about to waste $100, pray for me
I'm thinking of getting Jagged alliance, which games from that series should I get?
Are there any other games in this sale that are similar?
post the list first
>not buying material girl on the first day and selling the cards to get your money back and then greeting a full refund on top of that
These cards coupled with Nier, payday, and summer cards got me devil daggers, super house of dead ninjas, the swapper, downwell, and quake live. Was pretty worth.
Total war Warhammer and Evil Genius are good picks if you haven't already
Sale this year was pretty shit in comparison to the others. Maybe thats because they had more games that I wanted on offer.
Anyways rate my stuff
which one and where
Natural selection 2 is 2$, and stardew valley is 8
Wait you have to pay for QL now? What the fuck
Hitman is good but Blood Money is still the best
2013
you missed the origin E3 sale nerd
Probably cause no one plays and server costs have to be covered somehow. I actually have no idea what I'm getting into and I only last played when it was free.
Are the Jedi Knight games worth getting? One or two of them are kinda popular, right? Is it easy to set up multiplayer? Like,if I just wanted to do a match with a few friends, would it take much effort?
yeah it's $10 but if you had a free account you could get the steam version free when it switched over
they're great. JKII is the most skill based. you can probably use gameranger or direct connect
Cool. I've got Gameranger already, used it for Battlefront 2 a few times.
Yeah, PCs are for spreadsheets.
I only got The Silver Case, The Psycho Pass VN, Ori and Starbound.
Literally one of the worst sales ever.
are there any that don't involve me signing up for origin
doesn't necessarily have to be on steam, just not that one
Any good roguelikes?
So far I only have Tales of Maj'Eyal and Dungeons of Dredmorr.
no. it's an origin exclusive
>I suck gabe's dick daily but wilson's is gay
r8
>tfw already 38 hours in terraria
One Way Heroics Plus
>you already have ass cancer, why not grab brain cancer too
sorry goldstein but i think i'll pass today
i don't like steam i just hate ea
Anyone recommend a good driving sim? trying to get into them,
this years steam sale was utter shit
every game that was 75% or more off i already owned and the ones i was interested in we're 20% off at most
maybe in 5 years...
>gets to experience terraria for the first time
i am fucking jealous
assetto corsa
Not for the first time desu. I probably played like a 100 hours pirated. Felt like the devs deserved my money. I am playing for the first time with mods though.
Any good space games?
I didn't even buy a single game this entire sale.
Against my better judgment, I decided to check to see what Reddit had to say about the new sales, namely how Flash and Daily Deals were fucking gone and now the Summer Sale is a fucking joke.
I can't say I'm surprised to say that they were largely decrying the idea of Flash Sales as bad because they promoted capitalism.
just go to the GOG sales where they have new deals every 20 minutes so you can't ever sleep
I spent over a hundred dollary doos and I can't afford more but what should I get next? pls help
REMINDER that Kult: Heretic Kingdoms is for sale for less than a buck and it created the Souls genre.
>mfw only got Shadow of Mordor from cards
Everything else that's worth it already had the same offer on other sites or has a shit discount.
No, I know. The Keaneing is still one of the fondest memories I have of this fucking board, and that's saying something.
But seeing Flash and Daily Deals go is like the end of an era. It's fucking sad. And seeing retards on Reddit dance over its corpse and hailing it as the death of capitalism while loading their carts with games they won't play is mind boggling.
NW is unironically one of the best multiplayer shooters out there.
I don't understand how it's not capitalist? what's the argument?
I thought they just wanted to encourage more spending by not having people worry about dailies
I spent 200
The most expensive things were Dishonored 2, Dudesex 2, and Elite Dangerous
Half of my wishlist wasn't discounted enough, but I found some games I would have never seen before. But still, fuck those 10% off "deals"
At game purchase, if you choose to gift the game can you redeem the game for yourself? I've got a Borderlands 2 key and I would like to buy the GOTY bundle for the characters and expansions. The bundle requires you buy the base game again but if I buy the game for myself it says I won't get another key for the base game. I'd like another key since they won't discount the bundle price but if I can't get it it's whatever.
Full disclaimer, I don't fully get it myself. But what they're saying is that the idea of making people wait for the especially deep discounts is late-stage capitalism, and is treating the consumerist public like sheep because the big, bad corporations are making them stay up late to get an extra 15% off Call of Duty for an eight-hour window.
It's retarded.
R8 my damage report
No, I won't get the BG and Icewind originals because they're more expensive on GoG.
Dungeons of Dredmor and Order of Battle were small pieces of DLC I wanted and was missing.
Rogue Legacy
What are some games where I can be/control a big scary guy with a sword or mace, maybe undead, maybe a dark lord, with ebin fantasy armour, or a hooded wraith like a nazgul, travel the land and slay peasants?
Overlord is utter shit. Dont mention Shadow of Mordor, TES, Warband, Stronghold, Total War, Souls, Hexen, LoK, Gothic, HoMM, Disciples
Obscure games (less than 1k reviews) preferred
Best toaster friendly games for around $1? Already got Divine Divinity. How's Tallowmere? How's Deep Space Waifu do on toasters?
All I bought was Revelator.
Should I?
Take XIII-2 out. Keep MSF only if you absolutely love puzzles, rest is fine.
Haven't bought shit so far.
Should I get The Witcher 3 GotY Edition, or Nier A Tomato?
cuck-o-nauts crashes every time when you reach a certain pond. have fun
Someone wants a game? Something not very expensive
I have just barely over £40 on my account, any recommendations? (And advice if any of these are shit)
I'm willing to take out one if not more of the top 3 to get something at a slightly higher price than just £3
Only two bucks left to make a last minute purchase, so I can only pick one game.
wich one should I pick?
Xcom 2 is fucking shit and Insurgency is dead.
Any good tactics games? I'm thinking of getting Jagged alliance but I don't know which one to get.
I have silent storm, thoroughly enjoyed xcom
not getting XCOM 2 until it gets cheaper and the expansion is released
Deus Ex HR or Hotline Miami 2?
how'd I do?
Is subnautica too expensive
>Insanity's Blade
Should I press the button?
The Shadowrun games are alright and fairly cheap
If you like WWII and Panzer General there's Panzer Corps and Order of Battle
Warhammer 40k Armageddon is Panzer Corps with 40k
Xenonauts if you like XCOM
Underrail if you want a deep and complex cyberpunk tactics game
Question with no background:
if you had to recommend someone who's never played any kind of strategic games in his life an (J/W)RPG on steam for
Get JA2 Gold and apply 1.13 patch.
Streets of Rogue is fun, surprisingly stable and polished but very short currently.
Transistor.
I can even trade you some humble bundle games.
nier
devil daggers is great
I got shadowrun, i'll look into the WWII/wh40k games
Also oh shit I forgot about underrail, thanks
Thanks m8
Only played downwell, nice "roguelike" but do not expect high replayability, 10-20h max
Deus tbqh
Dishonored dlcs are god-tier, try to pick them up too
>siege
otherwise, yes
I cant decide whether to get Darkest Dungeon or XCom2
If i had to get one squad-based turn-based tactics-based game which one should i get
Don't let the DLC for Panzer Corps scare you or skew your opinion on the game. It's pricey and plentiful but you gotta understand that that's nearly 6 years of constant work poured into the game. It's the only thing the devs worked on during that time
It's not like the game shipped with all that shit.
Overall it's a great game and I really enjoyed it. I still have a couple campaigns left to beat.
Insurgency was free like a million times why are you buying this now?
Any other super cheap games I should add?
...
>>siege
That's literally the only thing on that list that'll keep him busy for months you fucking contrarian retard.
Darkest Dungeon is the Dark Souls™ of dungeon crawlers
XCOM 2 is the Dark Souls™ of tactical games
Both have ludicrous amounts of RNG, but since you talked about squads and tactics I'd say XCOM 2 since it fits the description more
Thief I/II, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Quake 1/2 are at 1 and a half $ each, then Quake III, Portal 2 and the entire Classic Doom collection at barely more
Could I get NEO Scavenger?
is nuDOOM worth $20? the DLC are exclusively multiplayer bullshit right?
>All these anons getting EYE
Is it finally getting the recognition it deserves?
if it's cool to ask for ray gigant, I would love to finish off this sale getting that, it's 5 dollars but i'm tapped out steamcommunity.com
wingamestore is doing an old Steam sale style sale and a lot is cheaper than on Steam, runs for a week or so.
This wasn't a fun sale, this sucked, even the sticker thing
Also wondering about nuDoom. I heard it is good but I was also thinking of just pirating it or something
It seems like it does pretty well during sales. Either because of EYE threads or it's just newfags, I'm not sure.
Have you ever played Brutal Doom? If you liked it, get it
>the DLC are exclusively multiplayer bullshit right?
Yes, should be
SVERIGE JA
the only fun game in there is probably Airborne and it lasts 5 hours, you did a terrible purchase
