Hey everyone, I've been having trouble getting achievements to unlock on my Xbox One - Day 1 edition. This problem has been going on for about 6 months now. The weird thing is if I play any 360 games on my One, I'll get achievements for those, just not actual One games.

X1 doesn't handle cheevos well.
Make sure you are updated to the newest version of games
You think it may be the console though?
Mine always takes like 5 minutes to boot up if it is fully shut off.
Like it sits on the green X1 screen for ages.. really annoying.

Xbox One achievements are very wacky.
Newer updates have fixed most problems. Check the game forums to see if other people have these issues.
I had the exact samw issues with Halo Wars 2 and what I had to do was delete my profile save data for that game and start over, but once I did all achievements unlocked.
You know you can easily cheat achievements, right?
And provided you're not some retard who unlocks every achievement for a game in five seconds, you won't get caught doing it.

Gamerscore doesn't mean anything. Achievements don't affect the game in any meaningful way, and a lot of them are arbitrary and stupid. They're a lazy way to add supposed replay value to a game without adding any content.
Everyone know it has real affect but obviously an enthusiast like op isn't gonna cheat achievements so why even suggest it?

I didn't mean to suggest OP should do it. I brought it up to show the futility in worrying about gamerscore when it's something so meaningless and so isn't an indicator of achievement in games.
But again thats like telling any collector of anything that collecting things is pointless, you're not gonna convince them
Do you guys think mechassault 1 and 2 will play on the xbone soon?
I'm pretty sure I had this problem with the first couple of weeks of getting my xbone, I think I had to do a full reset.
Try deleting you account of you xbox first then re-downloading it
