If you care about multiplayer go for Links, since it has been a huge success so far. You'll get a match in 5 seconds.
Legacy is more of a "you play the anime" type of game. It also looks like dog shit, especially compared to Links.

already play duel links and, while it's fun, it's not quite what i wanted. i care about the multiplayer but i also care about being able to play with the proper rules, especially when links comes full force completely destroys any deck that was based around the extra deck

honestly i care a lot more than i should considering most of what i play only treats the extra deck as "oh hey you can bring in something else sometimes to aid your main deck monsters"
guess i'll stick to ygopro

there was a week where the devs shat on the coding and fucked with the properties of all the cards for about a week when playing online
you could do shit like summon metalmorph with 3873 attack and dark magician without tributes with 0/0 stats, among other things

Links has everything besides card variety.

You're not summoning the trap card user, the effect of the card let's you summon tokens, which are monsters.

This isn't even true. If I use monster reborn to bring back a card, that's still me summoning it, despite it being because of an effect.

Duel Links was probably the best thing to do from their perspective. Absolutely nothing Konami could put out could compare to DevPro/YGOPro or Dueling Network/Book.

At least Duel Links is interesting because of the different card lineup. I like seeing cards that were shit in the actual game be broken in Links.
