What is the general strategy when you're first starting a game? Do you farm a few items for better survivability (and clover obviously) or go straight for tele? Assuming you're playing with honor, spite, glass, sacrifice, and command.

Straight for tele. Time is more valuable

Always go for tele. If you're playing multi, letting the time run for too long can really give some crazy enemy spawns later on

Is the miner any good in this game? I haven't played that much of this game yet but it would seem to me that Merc is just a better version of him

I think Merc is more about combos and pinging between enemies, whereas Miner's strength is movement, because he can go up, right and left quickly. I don't main Miner, but I believe a recommended combo is X, V, C.
